I think the teasers are from the first half of the episode on the events before the action. (All the teasers of 185 were showing the events before the actual action started) I think in 190 the events will start after whatever the last teaser image is. At least that's my opinion.

That is, more or less, the ultimate question as to whether L&P can reconcile the realism he's hoping for, with the kinks he loves. As far as I'm concerned, he's failed entirely and utterly. In that I came here for the GW route, liked the lesbian route, but as a consequence of his attitude, almost vehemently not liked anything M/S related. I've pretty much entirely gone entirely off anything M/S related based on the Dylan route.
Well, I think L&P has prepared the story quite well with the last update. Finally, Sophia realized that Dylan needs a little practice in dealing with girls and recognized the need to support him a little in this challenge. If Dylan does something good to her in this task, that's no problem either, because she can break off at any time. So the base is built, now Dylan just has to build on it.

Also, If you say something about reality, then you have not understood what this can mean, if at all, in a porn game. For example, how real world realistic was the scene in which Sophia simply tried out the Sybian? It's just ridiculous to pretend that the lesbian paths contains more realism than Dylan's path. AWAM is a porn game, so there is a need to redefine reality for the game at some point in practically every path. The important thing is that the story does not break its own rules.

I wanted to debate you, but... I'm officially tired of this, really.
We should be sharing our excitement and joyful impressions on the latest/nearest update, new details, nuances, etc. instead of endless dissecting things that are not and probably never will.
I'm sure I'm not alone in my opinion that L&P brought the level of toxicity around this game to the new, unseen before levels - to the point of exhaustion...

I'll shut up about lame drama by saying that if you have a counter to the points brought to by another person you should post it. Don't be a child. Post it but the self-slap brigade can't so they don't. The fact that this is on a 25 year dev cycle is something they cannot comes to grips with.


Anyway, to actual constructive points...

To piggyback off a user above, I would also change the entire timing system from days to weeks or months. As they said, just use quick montages to show minor events in the time between the major events you do show in detail. This would add realism (that he insists he strives for) and can speed up the dev time. Just offload some side stories entirely or offload them to the quick filler/montage scenes that aren't seen as major storylines.
It's a good idea and one I floated a while back.

Again, I come from a place of pure objectivity. I don't even play the game like most here. I check it out a while after an update drops to see progress. That's it. So when I see an issue it's not due to a personal kink being ignored or overused. It's not a lack of this storyline or that storyline for my personal desires. It's from someone sizing up a story.

I'm just stating the obvious. As long as there is someone in this thread who insists on realism in a porn game, it should be possible to present an argument to the contrary.

I also like to talk about what else might happen, but one does not exclude the other. No one should go around a forum telling others what they can or should talk about. If anything, that is the job of the mods.

Wondering if L&P is extending the update by X amount of renders. Last thing I heard was that it's supposed to be somewhat equal in size to the hairsalon event (~290 renders), and with the current pace that'd mean the next slowest development cycle record since launch 6 years ago.

Well it looks like we could be near the end of night and as you know L&P has gone over the render count so many time by as much as 40+ renders.
Prison visit and the Bikini photo shoot are two events that I remember that he went over

I think you're responding to me. I think there's a place for small events and side stories, so I wouldn't want them to be completely written off into montages. L&P has to make better use of his time, but I do think montages would be tricky to implement in the game's current structure. Let's take Aiden's tasks as an example. Aiden has 12 tasks for Sophia, but each event can be spread out over a whole day or even multiple days. If Aiden gives Sophia the idea for a task on PD 14, so that she can execute it on PD 15, that would be hard to montage around because there's other stories taking place between Aiden assigning the task and Sophia completing it.

So you'd almost have to revisit how the game is structured. Maybe you drop the "playable day" structure. Since we're doing event based releases, does it still make sense to structure everything into Morning/Lunch/Evening sequences? Maybe the entire concept of the 30 days needs to be reconsidered. Either way, maybe the best solution is this: episodic releases with a single focus.

Episodes could focus on a single storyline. One of the problems we've run into with the event based releases is that they feel very disjointed. Each event feels very independent and isolated from the rest, and that makes it hard to improve pacing through a montage. We jump around between characters and settings and every individual storyline barely advances. Episodic releases would help this. Let's say Episode 1 is all about Aiden and Sophia and covers tasks 5-7. We could montage over tasks 5 & 6, but still get the major developments from them, before really exploring task 7. This would give us a solid block of time with a single storyline which would advance the story in a meaningful way. We would improve pacing with the montage, and we could lessen some of the ponderous pacing by lessening the focus on tedious baby steps.

But this would be a really complex effort to rework the whole game's structure. But without major changes I'm not sure how effective montages would be.

Without a doubt. "a shame", saying it very elegantly. In truth, I will just continue to enjoy the forum itself, whose discussions and ideas I like a lot. But I take a long hiatus from the game. The image of Sophia "in love" and eager to be fucked hard by her own son, crosses a tolerance limit that, despite the fact that it is a game, seems to me as repugnant as it is absurd and demolishing all the previous line-argument construction. There are limits, always, in any order of life, and a minimum personal ethic with the development of what one does. You can't turn over your entire deck of cards just to stretch something to make more money. That sucks. So... bom voyair... see you in December 2023.
So you will be back in time for the 190 release!

Is it possible LP doesnt know where to go with the event to make it not boring or to not advance the story to fast or his original idea didnt work or he just stopped.

I have lost hope for a July release and am even concerned about an Aug release.
Remember the super long wait for the "must have, cant tell the story without it, completely will change the game" animations?
Still think a mid August release is most likely. He gets paid for the month and will have time for at least one more update this year. Incredibly slow but enough to keep most of his support.
