We aren't customers, we are supporters.
The creator has a vision and a plan for the game, you either support that plan or you don't. Nowhere does it state that we supporters will have any say in the process or that we will determine the direction the game goes. With Patreon's rules, the creators aren't even required to give you anything, I know that from another game that hasn't had any update for 2 years and yet still earns over 8k a month and this is ok according to Patreon. Even crowdfunded games doesn't have any requirements that the supporters will get any say, only requirement there is that you will get a game in the end, doesn't have to be good, doesn't have to be as advertised however.
L&P has stated from the start that the game will have 30 playable days and all 30 days are written and planned and he is sticking to the story that he has created and planned which is good, that's what he is suppose to do. We will not have any say in this area and neither should we, this is not our story, this is his and we are supporting it because we are interested and want to play his story.
But L&P does ask us about certain things and put them to a vote. Things like hairstyles, dresses and take this update, which tanned Sophia model is best and if he should release this update in 2 parts or in 1 part in which the supporters voted on releasing the update in 1 update rather then spliting it. So we have a say in those matters.
And no, this game won't be abandoned since most supporters know and understand what we are supporting and that's a slow crawl of an erotic game.
The updates could come faster but that's why we are supporting him, so he can hopefully quit his job one day and work on this game full-time and even hire some help.
