For the same reason most people cheat; loss of feeling in the relationship. Not doing the good wife stuff leads to this feeling that their relationship is not what it once was because it lacks passion, romance, and most of all just lacks Liam. If another guy of similar age gave her the kind of attention she seeks from her husband, she'd easily be tempted and this is the role Bennett could have filled had he been a nicer guy.

If Dylan is sent away till the Aiden tasks are either completed or another solution is found then Dylan has to be away till the tasks are completed or solved.Also what about the other students that Sophia was so concerned about?
Aiden has 10 tasks left so say 2 weeks,in game time,to complete them all.
The earliest Dylan could come back is Day 20 (playable day 13),4 more updates or is Dylan away till Aiden is sorted?

Only for the Dylan route. There needs to be some reason for her to be that depraved to sleep with her son. Aiden just happens to be that vehicle.
I don't believe you need to deal with Aiden at all for the Sam and Ellie routes. Can someone on the Sam route confirm/deny?

Which is why I'm worried that we may get forced NTR. I don't want Sophia to send Dylan to boarding school because I want her to continue doing things with him, but if Aiden wants to start touching her, or have her touch him, it's going to lead to a situation where you're forced into doing one of two things you don't want to do; send Dylan away and miss out on scenes with him at home, or NTR. I hope L&P won't do this, but it seems to be worryingly going down this road because there's no way Aiden doesn't want to do things to her.

Nope. Never had to deal with Aiden on the Ellie/Patricia route. I just don't know about the Sam route

It's the other way around probably.Hmm, I wonder if this means that the Sophia/Alyssa event is tied to this and if we aren't sending Dylan to boarding school then we won't be choosing between it and the Ellie/Julia event?

About cuting down content-pretty sure the old guys from first side job will be axed.

You probably mean playable day 20,not 13.There is no way all 10 tasks to be done from day 11 to day 13.

Will all the tasks be not that extreme or just the tasks after day 17 will be extreme?
Open to interpretation but it has me worried
For now, Sophia just has no other chance than either continue Aiden's game or send Dylan away. But sending him away right now (day 17) will open another little interesting storyline. That's why this decision! Until then, Aiden's tasks won't be that extreme anyway!

I just did a quick playthrough on Autoskip, and I managed to get that cello dream thing on the Sam route and didn't accept the Aiden deal at all, same as the Ellie/Patricia route. I might try again, but it may well be possible to a Sam/Ellie playthrough without accepting the Aiden deal too.
So, next Friday Sophia could finished with Aiden. Does Aiden make a mistake calling Sophia?

Deleted my last comment because I may have fudged the dates for this whole Aiden situation, so let me try again and see if I've got this right.
Ideally, Sophia will keep her job and Aiden will be the one removed from the equation, but I guess we just have to wait and see.
- Playable day 9 (in-game day 16, Monday) is the earliest point Sophia can decide to send Dylan to boarding school and not go through with Aiden's blackmail
- Dylan will eventually be taken to the boarding school on playable day 11 (in-game day 18, Wednesday)
- The "comfortable" way to end the Aiden blackmail will be on playable day 13 (in-game day 20, Friday)
- The second option to end it will be on playable day 18 (in-game day 25, Wednesday)
- Aiden has so far set 3 of the 10 tasks and there are still 2 days left in the week before the "comfortable" option
- Sophia can decide to send Dylan to boarding school at any point during this time.
Ideally, Sophia will keep her job and Aiden will be the one removed from the equation, but I guess we just have to wait and see.

Possibly, it would lead to keep evidence, any texts, audio, calls recorded, something that would help Sophia proving that she is being coerced in order to keep her son safe. She tried once recording the conversation but Aiden didn't fall for it so now that Aiden has her number...who knows? Maybe is the "comfortable" solution and the self-defense lesson could be the fight against Aiden.

It really shouldn't close the Dylan path, to be honest. Just because she sets him up with Emma doesn't stop him thinking sexy thoughts about his Mom.off topic any idea how the emma/dylan/sophie could work we know that emma/dylan close the sophie/dylan path.maybe dylan cheats emma with chistine and sophie goes in her rescue?
However, since it does apparently close Dylan's path, I imagine it won't work out between them because Emma will start spending some time with Sophia at their house and sneaking in a few kisses to the point where she really tries it on with Sophia who will either reject her or accept her. If she rejects her, it will end the Emma path and she'll dump Dylan, and if she accepts her, it will lead to a secret affair between Sophia and Emma while Emma continues to date Dylan. Then either they will be caught, or Sophia will end it later when she decides she can't keep going behind her son's back and things between Emma and Dylan will also end.

Just did another Autoskip playthrough, and as I thought, you can have full points with Sam AND Ellie, getting both the cello dream sequence and the shower scenes, while telling Aiden and Bennett to shove it where the sun don't shine.
You just don't get the bikini fashion show or the chicken fight, that's all.
