I'm just glad that many of Dylan's antics can be avoided, leaving me free of his conniving whenever possible. It would be really great if we had a choice where Sophia could correct his behaviour once & for all. That route would get my vote. Yes, I know he's popular but let those of us who don't understand this, be liberated, in the way that fans who don't like the blackmail can put a stop to it. That would be fair. (Even if you enjoy incest, the way Dylan goes about things is IMO wrong. {Now get face-palming you Dylan groupies}).
And how should it be in your view? „Sophia: Oh my son has a big cock! I want to fuck him right now!” Or what?

Dylan was never been a weakling. L&P was tempted by various negative comments and created the twist/deal. He wanted to make him look strong with it. But it was never necessary. Dylan is an excellent footballer. He shoots the goals in his team. Do you think he has no female fans? He is an absolute greatness in PC/Hacking. Also here he scores his points with Ellie! So why should he be a weakling in your eyes. L&P has realized that many of us disagree with this way of thinking. I think you also don't like the character "Dylan" from the bottom up. Similar to oldDog. Actually dog and cat do not like each other. But here it seems to fit. ;) I don't like Sam, by the way. But I have to accept him or skip him.
Do I think he has no female fans? Of course. If he did, where are they? Can he shoot goals? Of course he can. Do girls think he's cute? Marie and Emma seem to think so. I will point out though that they think he is "cute", and not "hot".

And as for the accusation I'm prejudiced against Dylan (or that I don't like him from the "bottom up"), when it comes to issues like consanguinity, of course I am. Especially since Sophia wants another child. But everything else is backed up with in-game references, including Sophia's own thoughts on her relationship with Dylan.

But my main criticism of Dylan is independent of any of that, namely his unwillingness or inability to engage with people. Even on day 1, his reaction to mowing the lawn is:

And it's left to Sam to take advantage.
Or Ellie, after she sees that her mother is willing to kiss another woman, she asks "Why not me?", and manages to seal the deal.
Or back to Sam, after he finds out Sophia has a weakness for young rock musicians, what does he do? Invites her to his rock performance.
Whereas back to Dylan, if you decide to set Emma up with Dylan

So completely lacking in any engagement with what Sophia is talking about and trying to do.

IMO, Ellie is going to help Dylan. The next shower is going to kiss Sophia's tits, but after that? You can't wait for Sophia in front of Dylan's open bedroom door. It's too risky. Dylan is going to find out what's going on and ask for the same favors.
It's enough for Dylan to spy on the bathroom door. He's very good at this ;) Some groaning and he's got his way open.

It's only risky if Dylan is there. And that's a simple matter of Ellie knocking on his door to check he's finished in the bathroom. He could be downstairs having breakfast for all we know, his door being open just to get some air, and be out the door none the wiser. And even if Ellie was discovered, he can't ask for the same favours for the same reason he couldn't join the women in the showers at the Yoga event.

Too much blah blah in this game!
is this a porno game?
If i want to see a story of a mom and wife there are tons of them in NETFLIX or Amazon Prime that have more sex scenes
and are filmed with great Actress.
Why this game is going to be so slow
it seems to be a female boring soap...
started in the 2017 :oops::rolleyes::eek:

Bah.

Every male protagonist in this game doesn't do well. Or each of us only sees not the flaws in our favorite characters.
Dylan's response to the task of mowing the lawn is really arrogant. But I would trust my grandson to give such an answer.

But if I had to have such a conversation with my mother, I would have sunk into the floor with shame and would have blocked.
Despite the good intentions.

For me the main problem with the character Dylan is that there are too few playable days to believe in a credible positive development of his person.

"Hey mom? Uhmmmm, I did my chores, can I have my allowance now, and as I did them on time can I play with your boobs?"

 I would never have said that, nor would I have stayed breathing if I had.

I don't hate the kid but he has issues, deep ass issues as a character to overcome in so short a time.

Dylan's open bedroom door
Remember this is the Winner that gets his Rosie Palm time with friggin' door open. I doubt he ever has figured out a door gives one privacy or protects one's crap. Would he ever shut the damn thing if he jerks it with it free swinging?

Is Dylan immature in his response on day 1 - Yes - he has some growing up to do and he is the baby of the family. (Isn't this a reasonable author's way to show starting behavior and then, personal growth - by giving someone a clearly immature place to start from?). Does he start to show more maturity as the story evolves - Yes - IF you make those choices.
1. Do we have the choice to have Dylan tell his friends to cut that crap out when they are talking smack about Sophia - Yes (standing up for his family - I'd call that a more mature response).
2. 1st Dylan/Ellie bonus story (only available if Sophia takes the Aiden path - so no Aiden path, no ability to show of Dylan's personal growth), he offers to fix Ellie's laptop that has a malware problem and all he wants is a hug and kiss from Ellie (he turned down her offer of $ - so he valued the hug and kiss more - another mature response).
In my Sophia story, she decided not to try to hook up Dylan with Emma - so Dylan continues his story with Sophia - and there is no dialogue calling Emma anything. In the playthrough others are quoting, they have chosen options that have Dylan respond in an immature way. So - is Dylan growing in maturity or is he remaining an immature kid? It depends on your choices in the same way that if Sophia chooses the good wife path and shuts down anything to do with any man other than Liam, she continues to maintain her focus on her marriage with Liam - all choice driven.
So... saying Dylan is immature because someone makes immature choices for him is kind of self-fulfilling. Those making choices like that are getting the Dylan they envision. I am getting the Dylan I envision because I made different choices. Everyone gets to have the Dylan they CHOOSE. I don't understand the repetitive arguing just because some of us make different choices. If I say that today is Thursday, October 22nd, 2020, and you say but tomorrow will be Friday, October 23rd, 2020 - we are Both right! I'm choosing to focus on today and you are choosing to focus on tomorrow, both choices are equally valid. In AWAM, we get to make the choices to tell the story we envision - that is part of the beauty of AWAM. Disengaging soap box in 3...2...1...

In fact, it would just bring them closer together. He could be mom's helper, and thanks to this, he would spend more time with Sophia. Step by step.

Maybe if he did not assume it was his due for doing the work in the first place. He just bugs me. He is only this side of being a Ron Weasley for AWAM. He has potential but is draining the bucket quick fast and a hurry.

I just want to be on page 2222 and say that I cannot believe that after he proclaimed that development of game will indeed last 10 years that number of his supporters didn't drop sharply.

If you have a communication from L&P that says that this won't happen - ever, then please post it here so we all know that this potential branch of the story won't ever happen.
Something like this was long ago on Patreon. To be honest, I wouldn't even want it to be. Enough of Ellie and Dylan's fanservice storyline. There is no need to turn the plot and script into a leaky sieve. I still worry about Ellie and Dylan's storylyne, because their very closeness looks like an absolute out of character for Ellie now. If there is a threesome, it will finally kill and cut the personalities of both, Ellie and Sophia. Ellie is my favorite character. And I don't want her personality to be destroyed.

As to your second point about Dylan's maturity depending on the choices you make: the second example I use, if you set Emma up with Dylan, only depends on if you decide to set Dylan up with Emma, and nothing to do with the cuck path. There is no way to set him up with Emma, and not have him acting like an ingrate. I am choosing quotes from the best case scenarios on the Dylan route. Because I'm quoting code, I have access to all the paths, so my quotes have nothing to do with choosing to make Dylan a weakling. Could I have chosen the quote from the Yoga event when Patricia calls Dylan a fool for choosing the wrong decisions with Marie? Of course, but then I would have been guilty of your argument. But I didn't. I don't have to. I chose an event on the Aiden path, that might even get him laid. But he ridicules the idea.
