You do not need to strew the ashes on your head. This is the author's first game, so that the delays are not surprising. The game is gradually gaining momentum as it should. The income will grow. I'm going to become patron next week.
OK.Where I was talking about delays?:)And you shouldn't expect too much. All games that have $10K+ do it no later than 6 month of development. Most even do it in third or forth month.

Games are very different. This game is much larger and better. In most games, a lot of repetition. And the actions are almost all in the same locations. Here all the cards are different, very beautiful. A well-written plot. You can not bring all the games under one comb.

You know that the way you are talking is way too suspicious, right?
Like someone said,stop it.

You seriously believe he's a dev just because he's defending this title? He's writing is completely different and he's a strong incest fan while dev is rarely talking about it. Chillax - this game will have people rooting for it as it's quite an amazing piece of code. Maybe not in a porn context but still one of the best we have

Sounds illuminati. Our small Patreon devs paying some forum members to praise their game? Except for incest parts I agree with his opinions about this game. Dev might not be satisfied with his income but he's still probably the most succesful dev of his time on Patreon and it's quite obvious that if it was released like year earlier it would most certainly be huge in Patrons.

Even tho emotional I can agree with all of that.

...writes the one with a BB, DoD and DmD banner in his signature...

He's a fan. It's a good game with great renders. Don't know how that's "too suspicious".
Then what?I played DmD from sept 2016.And almost every other game between 2014-2018.No idea how I still have time for board and card games:)

Yeah, me too, and above 170 renders, its better than expected. And I don't expect any sex, will do if Sophia walks, does exercise, meets people and talks

I do not know much about game rendering, why does it take that much money? I understand he works hours in the project, but it seems to be an exorbitant amount of money for such a simple game

The author of the game now receives 3200. This is not very big money. I think for oh, that devote yourself to the game completely, this amount should be at least 6000-8000. You seriously think. what to do such a game is easy? Especially the first time. with so many pictures. Here are the words of the author himself -
All I can say: I have spend all together about 7 months to write a 30 days story, create a huge setting, find all the appropriate characters and give them the best look, create a rpg world etc. I didn't do this extremely laborious work to stop now! But to create a game on such a high level I need 24/7 time. For that: I have to cancel college and terminate work. Of course I need a good financial reason for that. Even though I'd love to work further on this game rather than go to college or to work.
Let's put the cards on the table. The $ you see on Patreon currently are not my or any ones real income! At the end of every month it falls down at some percent to about 2600-2700 in my case. That's what I've earned the last months. That's about 2150€. Minus some Patreon charges and about 100€ Paypal is always withdrawing for dollar/euro conversion. That's 2000-2050€. Minus tax and health insurance = maybe 1200 if I'm lucky. A very small flat in Germany costs (cold rent) at least 400€/month. If you're using the GPU many thousands of hours you can imagine how the electricity bill looks like! Then you have also to buy at least food and beverages. If you got a car, also paying auto insurance. Plus other necessary private things. If you stay in college: about 720€ per year (yeah this is very cheap in comparison to America!). So there's not really much what remains at the end. And for 340 working hours per month, this is really not the most lucrative way to earn money in Germany when the hourly compensation is 8,84€, so for jobs you don't need any qualification!
A GPU, which is used for thousands of hours under full load per year doesn't last much longer than 12-14 months! I need at least 2 GPU's. One GPU = 1000€.
I'm doing it actually much more because of passion to my project at the moment!

I do believe that this game is good. but stop saying that it is the best of all history of games development and so on. cause there is other games with the same or better quality. the game is at its early build and we will see.
Also i think that the dev complains too much about money. He even do calculation on patreon regarding taxes, expenses and savings. saying that the 3.2 K$ he earn every month are not enough...like asking for more charity.
But judging by his own calculation we can see that the actual income pays the bills and even more. And if he is really a passionate developer as he said that should be enough for now...hopping for more in the future.
I think that he has to stop talking about money and keep doing good work. if the game is really good and worth the pledges he'll surely earn more money like other devs who make more than 10 K$ now. if not, in this case begging for charity won't change anything.
