The picture can also be interpreted that way. Aiden tries to impress Sophia. He relies on his proven method.
Cool guy with a nice and fast machine, a guy who knows what he wants and takes it. A bad boy!
Only Sophia already knows the really bad guys.
If Sophia realizes what a wimp is behind the appearance of Aiden, the balance of power would be reversed.
Then she would be challenging the Aiden. "You want to break me - I'm excited about your next task!"
She would always even do the job and make their contempt for Aiden significantly at the end. They would make Aiden more and
more angry and insecure and thereby make the tasks more and more challenging.
It would even be possible to involve an ignorant Liam. An intersection between God-Wife and Filthy Route.
I can't imagine how she gets rid of Aiden. Maybe when he asks her out on a date at some point, she has sex with him and he then stutters "I love you". And then she has a video recording of it. That could destroy his entire facade.
Sophia can get rid of Aiden easily as there are a number of options open to her, without killing off the Dylan route.

Break Aiden ?
I doubt that is the role of this character; in the construction of the story, I really see him as the bad boy, the one who tries to get under duress (blackmail). A bit like Bennett, but with the age difference.
It also takes a bad boy character to corrupt Sophia (and please everyone).
In one of the two pictures that were published you can see Sophia's face. She looks pissed off. Maybe she's just paying attention to the traffic, maybe Aiden just doesn't want to look in the face. How should corruption work in this initial situation? Aiden can break Sophia's will in this way. But corruption doesn't work that way. For me, corruption means throwing all my moral values overboard for current pleasure or current advantage. Where should the fun be with pure blackmail for Sophia?

Sophia is pissed off because she is very annoyed that she got called away from her best friend wedding preparations.

We agree on the definition of corruption. Isn't that what Sophia is doing? Abandon its values, its benchmarks, its line of conduct because it recognizes that it finds pleasure in it. Even more because it takes place in his professional environment. The respected and respectable teacher becomes an attentive woman and turned towards her desires.

Bending the woman to the will of someone else.

The respected and respectable teacher becomes an ATTENTIVE woman and turned towards her desires.
First of all we should state that it is our, the player, fantasies that Sophia should turn to. And I hope Google translates "attentive" wrong for me.
Let's hold on that we don't agree.
For me, corruption can only work successfully in the long term if the person to be corrupted can control the situation, at least partially. Everything else for me has to do with a breach of will, that is, forced sex, equating with rape. I just can't get past it. I just can't get past it.

Bennett wants sex but Aiden isn't so much interested in sex as domination and humiliation.
Not all young men are attracted to mature women and we don't have proof that Aiden is a Milf-fan. Plus Jennifer, his classmate, seems to be one of his sex partners.

You know, I had to back to the game and check the image myself just to be sure there was no funny business of yours :p
And man, Sophia can turn anyone in a milf-fan with just one look ;)

Jokes aside, I agree that Aiden may not be driven by the idea of having sex with Sophia but by the domination and humiliation, especially because Sophia also represents the "authority". This is what it seems so far, Great Twist or not, it is to see if it goes down like that till the end or there will be an evolution on both sides wrt the relationship and the nature of the tasks.

You're right about authority. Jennifer doesn't seem like a dominated or scared girl. She even said she wanted to marry a rich man, and the photo above shows her in a normal relationship.

Instructions to shorten the text, reduce the number of renderers, supposedly removing unnecessary ones, etc.
Are people so blind to what L&P creates?
Not at all blind, I don't think you're providing an honest assessment of the general critique. I'd put it this way:
We all pretty much agree that the images are absolutely top-tier quality, L&P has exceptional understanding of the alchemy of creating a digital image that pleases the eye; that the stories are all good (for the most part, though not always necessary to tell Sophia's experience), and the dialogue and especially the inner monologues are clunky and inefficient at delivering content.

And it's this last point that I want to pause on: if a picture is worth a thousand words, and these pictures are all fantastic, then why does L&P require so many words? Or so many pictures? The most plausible answer at this point is cuz L&P lacks the discipline to stick to the story, thinking more is better when that is rarely the case.

The motorcycle pick-up images are a case in point: do we need to see Sophia from Aiden's point of view? We're never meant to be in Aiden's so head I don't see why the image is important. A couple of extra shots from over Sophia's shoulder as she crosses the street, move the pigeons a few feet, move a car a few feet, Aiden's posture straightens or gets even more cock-sure, and re-render. Far faster than composing both sides of the street and the viewer/player would not loose the effect.

Think about it this way: Showing Sophia crossing from Aiden's point of view: are we ever in Aiden's head? No, we only should only know his thinking when he talks out loud or makes an action. Are we providing the player additional information? No, from Sophia's point of view image we already know the bike is across the street in front of the park and (presumably) we've already seen the exterior of the building when the bridal party entered.

And if L&P needs the shot from Aiden's POV because he's going to provide us Aiden's inner dialogue - well that's the first part of the argument about script and discipline: It's should not be about what Aiden thinks, it should be about what Sophia thinks and how she responds to what Aiden says and does.

Let Aiden, Dylan, Sam, Ellie, et. al., be a mystery - if you want realism in your story then at least acknowledge that no person in reality knows exactly what someone else is thinking and no person in reality has a first-hand perspective on events taking place outside their vision or hearing.

In my opinion, the only real opportunity for L&P to speed up the release of updates is to split the content of the game day as much as possible.
I think that's the exact wrong direction given the track record. So called "smaller" updates have ballooned to be bigger than even half-day updates, so no - they should actually put themselves on a 1/2 day per 4-months schedule and stick to it, learn to plan accordingly and stick to the script (after it's been edited down to remove text blocks (whether spoken or internal) where they don't provide new information).

Speaking of Aiden's tasks, I'm interested in taking the route that Sofia will have to complete all 12 of Aiden's tasks.
It would be interesting if, after the 12th task, Sophia said to Aiden, " Damn it! I have completed all your 12 children's tasks! Do you have a fantasy? I'm giving you a chance. Come up with something really interesting! I'm ready to complete task 13! What do you say to that?"

I asked myself the same question about the two teasers.
Obviously without the text or the context we cannot say much, but to me in this case he may very well want to recreate the cinematic effect of "suspence": you first show Sophia from the front with Aiden in foreground, what happens there is that Aiden and the bike are covering the bag which is really important. So if you are watching the scene like that you first see Sophia going towards Aiden and then with change of POV you spot the bag, and tada! surprise! the task is there.
This is the interpretation I gave, we need to see it in context, but I think in this case he is really trying to use that effect. Then one can say it's too much, like or not, but that's the explanation I came up with.

oh, it’s going to be good, I have no doubt, it always is. The point for me is only cutting the preposterously long development time and the extra renders.

if there were the team to develop the assets and block in the scenes and lighting and cameras, with L&P doing the final refinements of the setups all of my criticism (except the dialogue which is as much down to personal taste and translation as anything else) goes out the window and I’m a happy camper with thumbs up all the way.

But it’s a solo project, so calling out the lack of discipline is valid and warranted and hopefully useful to the developer.
