Everyone's going to throw stones at me now, but I just can't keep quiet.

Secondly, Aiden is a high school bully with some connections to gang members who's got a powerful uncle. Nothing more. He's neither Richard Ramirez, nor Ted Bundy, nor Ed Gein, nor Jeffrey Dahmer, nor Charles Manson! So calm the fuck down! Yeah, I know that their victims also didn't know that they are serial killers. But you definitely misinterpret and overinterpret Aiden's role and the role of a bully in general!
Thanks for the clarification. But if he's an ordinary school bully, do you understand that then Sofia's consent to blackmail is even more pointless? The purpose of the blackmail does not match the perceived risks.
Thirdly. What exactly would Aiden get out of it if he'd cause harm to Sophia? What would he win with that? He's also not a complete stranger to Sophia. He's just trying to see how far he can go with her. So, raping her in the forest would be pretty counterproductive plus neither Aiden nor any of his friends is a fucking rapist! Are you serious? Plus you don't even know what they're talking about before the drive!
Do not be nervous, and learn to accept criticism adequately.
1) In my opinion, rape is the worst thing that can happen to a woman. That is, it was cited as the worst possible consequence of a rather stupid decision. For example, do not stick your fingers into a power outlet; do not walk at night, alone, in the bandit quarter; run away from dark alleys; do not go, anonymously, with a bully out of town, and so on.
2) You know that Ayden and his friends are nice and noble hooligans. How does Sophia know about this?

Sorry I'm trying to find logic in the plot. This is probably my fault.

Last but not least. You have the god damn option not to drive with him and put your son to the boarding school. If you think this is more realistic, do that! Nobody's forcing you to drive with Aiden nor to do his tasks! If you think incest is unrealistic. Don't go with it! Just play the good wife route and enjoy your realistic gameplay!
It makes sense. Here I absolutely agree. Only, please, in this case, stop justifying the complete absence of intimate scenes for 5 years of development with “realism”. Otherwise it looks pretty hypocritical.

All I wanted - I said. I'm sorry that this topic caused such a pain in the author's ass, and inconvenience to the communicators. I go into reading mode.

About two years ago, a high school girl was coming home from school. On the way, she meets a neighbour, about the same age, who offers to drive her home in his car. She ended up in an abandoned place, being raped by five. All young, same age, around 20.
At the trial, the victim herself asked for a reduced sentence for one of the boys, he only had vaginal sex with her. During the trial the question was often asked: why did she get into the car? and after the trial the girl's family moved to another town. It was a small town.

None of them were Richard Ramirez, nor Ted Bundy, nor Ed Gein, nor Jeffrey Dahmer, nor Charles Manson! Just real world.

Second. The word "rape".
Here, in a conversation demonstrates lack of arguments.
e.g. I argue with my girlfriend and tell her I'd rather go to the moon for a week than spend another minute with her.
How about after that she tells everyone that I bragged that I can live on the moon.

It's not about rape, it's about what risk you're exposing yourself to. Dylan comes home with a small bruise, not all broken bones. Even for that Sophia decides to get involved by putting herself in even greater danger. Scared of a bruise and not scared of what might happen to you?
Aiden's tasks, is it reciting poetry, solving math problems, chemistry experiments? My guess is no, it's about sex.

In my opinion, at this level, Sophia should think twice before getting on the bike. If I was writing the text, Sophia would have flatly refused to go with Aiden but, she would have agreed to do many other things ....
After the first BJ, even HJ, yes, Sophia would get on the bike and ride away with him.

We should start a suicide hotline exclusively for members of this forum. If anyone calls it just plays a message "But don't you want to know how A Wife And Mother turns out?"
"ahh fuck you dammit" - puts down the phone furiously

Yes, that's right. Realism will take second place to Sophia discovering her 'inner slut.' This is one of the over-used cliches of games of this type but it's definitely corruption. Anti-blackmailers should be pleased with such a development, where an essentially good woman goes astray largely of her own free will, with just a bit of a shove from a dastardly villain. That she will make the transition has already been telegraphed in task one. As for the double standard with a male protagonist, I agree with you but that is what society has done, not us, not the Dev. There are some who, no doubt, will view the lewder switched-on Sophia as a sexually liberated woman, which is another legitimate POV. Extending this line could see Sophia as a sexual predator, i.e. she knows what she wants & she knows how to get it. Would that be a way to go?

Personally, I prefer the good woman to be forced into things which are against her nature, rather than having a choice. That way her essential character remains intact. Speaking of choices, anti-blackmailers are ridiculously over-supplied with ways to avoid or stop the whole thing & (incredibly) there are more coming up. It's almost embarrassing how many ways there are to avoid it. I would relish having the same number of chances to progress in the game without having to indulge in the ubiquitous incest but I have had to accept things as they are & avoid it when I can. (Even half the number of chances would do).

Once again I'm defending the blackmail element, which itself has so far been almost ludicrously mild, even childish, ('show us your knickers'... is in keeping with the school setting). Blackmail is NOT rape, it is not even the beginning of rape. It's prescence at least currently provides some edginess & gets away from the suburban soap scenario. If it wasn't there, (which for many it isn't, or soon won't be), the story would be like a slightly porn-influenced romantic novel. Most romantic novels today are indeed porn-influenced in any case.

I've stirred controversy before without meaning to but now I will deliberately go out of the comfort zone. [As far as I'm concerned, the more Sophia is kept out of her comfort zone, the better]. There should have been a stronger, tighter reason for the blackmail, such as Sophia accessing Bennett's personal file, digging for counter leverage to his blackmail attempt, only to be ironically discovered by Aiden.

Stating that there will be no rape, or forced sex, while it no doubt reassured some vanilla fans, also surgically extracted the tension that the blackmail should have provided. This doesn't mean that these things would HAVE to happen but simply knowing they CAN'T happen is counter to the normal game-world practice & makes the whole blackmail storyline(s) superfluous, (other than as a corruption device, referred to above), even though I still enjoy them out of curiousity to see what actually WILL happen. Sophia doesn't really know this of course, which also helps to keep things buzzing.....just.

I don't practice blackmail in RL but I won't be guilt-tripped because I follow it here. I enjoy a good war film but I don't want the wars on Earth to continue. I like murder mysteries but I don't want to murder anybody. I'm tired of having to point out that this is fantasy, so next time there's 'white knight' post, I may indulge myself & deliver an anti-incest diatribe. Peace.
Language is a wonderful thing. We know rape, sexual blackmail, sexual harassment .... For me, these are all
labels one and the same thing. Those are semantic subtleties for me. It doesn't matter whether forced sex
is immediate or incremental.
For me that means that the story about the blackmailing of Sophia is initially a potentially less erotic route.
If the developer follows the path consistently, there will end up being a broken woman who may enjoy sex but
leave her old life and people completely behind.
For me, nothing good can turn into a shitty starting point. If erotic scenes are to arise here, Sophia Aiden
has to get rid of, not the tasks themselves, but the blackmail and the blackmailer. Everything else has no
emotional logic for me.
And last but not least, I am aware that they deal a lot cooler with the blackmail route. You can call me a
weirdo and I wouldn't be able to disagree with you. But I make the decisions in this game and if I still
play the route because of the sexual content that is my lived corruption in reality :devilish:.

First of all, it's not even clear if Aiden is really 17!

Thank you for this reminder here that we always have a choice ! The desire to see Sophia like this or that "belongs" to us. From YOUR story. :)

Same!

I said that there is no reason to talk about Aiden as a thug, rapist and so on. He is primarily a schoolboy, but unlike other students who so far only fantasize and masturbate, he probably has a real sexual experience.

Sculpting a rapist out of Aiden, there is no point, this is overkill!
Another thing is that in the long term, when Sofia will allow herself much more than at this stage, one of the options is probably something like group sex with Aiden's friends. If, of course, L&P has such a plan, but we do not know for sure. But the violence in the relationship between Sofia and Aiden, I absolutely do not see and do not understand all this excitement.

And in general, many on this forum are in a hurry to give a negative assessment of the plot about which they have no clear idea, basing their assessments on their own fantasies. This is regrettable.
Except that the entire reason for doing the tasks is to prevent Dylan from getting beaten up. Aiden is a thug.

Now this community has successfully pissed off the developer of this game. Look at you being angry and all! It's cute.

But what are the odds, you only ever respond to nexer's posts! Hmm
Not just those from Nexer :)

Yup! Seems like a nerve was struck. I just hope it doesn't cost us more days of 'wait time' for this update, not that L&P has a vindictive side. (Well, anyway, here's me hoping he doesn't.) :)

I find it hard to understand why you talk about rape, bitch, slut. Does Sophia deserve such treatment ? Does the story of L&P deserve such seriousness in the words ?

I just see Sophia as a woman who wants to experience what she feels little by little.
Does that make her a bitch ? Perhaps.
I think that above all it makes her a woman who follows her desires. Or ours. Because these are our choices. In this case the term slut would be rather flattering. Everyone would find that normal for a man without calling him a pervert or deviant.

It's not my intention to troll the game, I came to this forum because of some pictures of this game I saw on the net, even if they didn't have the quality of the current ones. More than 90% of my posts are on this thread.
Now, those who come back to this thread I don't think are looking for: rape/beastiality/... .
There are other games for that.
I was drawn to the eroticism of the scenes and L&P's ability to connect the player to the reality he is presenting to us. Because that's where I think his great talent lies, then comes the artistic side of the game.
What I wrote is my point of view, a constructive opinion not a destructive one.
