I understand your sarcasm, my friend.
I will say more. I love L&P's stubbornness and how he goes about his goal.
The fact of the matter is that I have no desire to influence his decisions, I say that such a survey could really help him. Not to you and me, but to him, which in the second turn would probably be useful for us as well. Provided that it somehow helps him.

I understand that the survey is not so important. It will be much more useful to create a team, but it is extremely difficult. And I perfectly understand for what reasons.
Solutions have been suggested to L&P on it's time, i told him to contact the renpi developer (which i've been also a patron of), to address the problem with having to download 15Gb every update instead on automatically upload a patch to renpi app. Which if i understood, this will be the last(?) update we've got to download the entire pack...

He is stubborn, and artsy, and gets lost in his perfectionism, and takes like a huge lot of time between updates... and for a "small" update he makes 1000 renders and 47 pages of text... Yup. But i like his art, and 35€ is like buying him two meals and 4 coffees... So in a sense what he is "milking" us is more like patience than cash.

A bit off-topic, but could you guys recommend some games that have an amazing plot or story? I'm looking for something that's more than just porn. It doesn't necessarily have to be incest; any category will do.
I can only think of Summer Scent, but could you guys recommend some more?
I have enjoyed where the heart is but, mainly for the interaction between MC and Katie. I just roflmao at some of the dialogue. It does have a plot mixed in between "interactions" (Nudge, nudge, know what I mean). There is also Dreams of Desire. This has a character story and conflict so you may like that. Both have available walk-throughs to help.

You know L&P moves his goals out further to avoid reaching them, misses multiple self-imposing deadlines, and adjusts his script on the fly... and this is a positive for you???

My friend, AWAM is certainly not "Anna Korenina", but creative work requires adjustments and corrections and much more when it comes to writing a novel. In the case of AWAM, we are talking, I think this is correct, about an interactive novel in which many plots are intertwined, there are many interconnections, this work takes a lot of time.
This is all completely natural, as well as the fact that L&P is afraid to trust sensitive information to applicants to help him.

Of course, there may be other approaches to such work, but for me it is natural to respect the choice of L&P.

After all, if we are objective and critical of ourselves, we are not happy with only one fact, namely that we have to wait to find out the continuation of his story! Right?
To be honest, it is clear that the problem is not with the creator, but with you and me.

If you only speak one language, whatever it may be, you can't understand the difficulty of translation, especially if you use slang.
Translation is indeed an art in itself. Several members of my extended family have done translation work and one family member has made it a full time career for nearly a decade now. Even with their expertise and experience I sometimes get asked to review bits and pieces where they are unsure if something sounds natural or colloquial enough - not often, to be sure. And yeah, it is sometimes funny to see how something written in a foreign language gets translated when there are no obvious equivalents - the passage has to be completely rewritten in order to convey the same idea.

I don't speak the source language but I still see and understand the pitfalls and difficulty even among very experienced translators. So no, you don't need to be multi-lingual to understand, that's silly.

The creator has its querks to iron out too, he is young and it's his first big project (he was in the university not long ago), so he lacks experience on many things, mainly business and project management... He is learning the tools, etc.

For example, having the ability to make patches online, instead on having to tweak all together, he can sort to a build & update per event, instead on the halves and thirds of a day. This approach is better for the audience, because you see this moving forward, and get your hands over new content sooner. As the pressure to develop and deliver decreases, he can have a life, a dog, a wife and kids if that's his desire. Will be a win/win.

Yeah, it'll take till 2025 to see this finished. But every month or weeks if it's a short thing. You will open the game, and a new chapter will be available. Sometimes for the good wife, sometimes for aiden, or watever line you are in. Sorry, too many branches to have everyone happy at the same time. But, you will see ver 0.115, 0.116, 0.116.1... Closer to each other. Add a page in the game of "updates" and tell: next patch will have... blabla. Current pach adds day 13 noon event 1. Etc.

No, the same day as everyone... I've got to improve my sarcasm in english (not my natal language) ... Here you've got a huge percentage on trolls and haters, some freeloaders that shit all over the place when they don't spent a dime on the product... Mmmm, Bane71 not sure this data would be "objective" enough.
i get the update 1 day later because i only pay 15 euros from awam

I am very glad that you are having fun!

But nevertheless, I will repeat myself. In fact, the problem is that we are not happy with the fact that we have to wait a long time for the continuation of his story.

Let's make an analogy with reading a book or watching a TV series.
If we are not interested in a book or TV series, we stop reading and watching!

In the case of AWAM, we are interested in the sequel! But we manage to accuse the author of not providing us with the next chapter within the previously agreed period.
And we would be right, but only if we had other financial and legal relations with the author, and not voluntary patronage.

I agree with you 100%!
I wrote this to him in a personal message. L&P said it would consider my proposal. He is confused by the fact that this approach will not satisfy everyone.

My boss once told me:
I prefer to work with someone who works a little less well but who finishes on time, than to have someone who does their job really well but always ends up late.
With one, I will always be paid and keep my customers, with the other, I will be broke.

You probably know that many creators died in poverty.

Yeah i know. But L&P is not Van Gogh, Allan Poe etc
And he doesn't work for him. You forget that his working tools, his patrons who paid him through a subscription each month. The artists, them, started with their own tools their vision of their art often out of step with their time. But they followed their idea. Here L&P works for an audience whose expectations it knows. Not for an audience that does not know anything about fauvism and expressionism, literature, etc.

Of course, my friend, I understand you, but speaking of artists, I meant their general approach to the result of their work. For them, at a given moment in time, the assessments of others are not important, they want to receive at the exit the creation that is in their head and requires an exit. And the financial side, this is another, if not the last thing.
