Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of the game, but whether L&P calls it blackmail or not, Morello made Sophia doing something she wouldn't have done without the leverage. That is quite clearly a blackmail event, at least from my point of view.

In addition, there are two other blackmail stories besides the one with Morello. Or did you forget Aiden and Mr. Bannett? Both threaten Sophia with consequences if she does not act as they dictate. Two more very clear blackmail stories in my opinion.
Yes I meant to say that what L&P views as blackmail may well be different from our view as with many aspects in this game,L&P sees an event as we may not think so

Whether L&P sees it that way or not, there are three major blackmail stories in his game:
  • Aiden threatens the health of Dylan, to impose task to Sophia
  • Mr. Bannett forces Sophia to attend the dinner and related events, and threatens Dylan's school career to enforce it.
  • Morelo threatens the household, to enfocre his goal.
Actually, there were even more:

  • Clark, forced her to the shower or to reveal her trespassing on school property
  • Johnson, immorally imposed himself, with the leverage of the job that Sophia needs.
Yes I meant to say that what L&P views as blackmail may well be different from our view as with many aspects in this game,L&P sees an event as we may not think so
If you look at how the story played out with Don Morello, Liam was the cause of the debt he inquired from losing at the casino, which he put the house up for collateral. Don Morello didn't go looking for them to cause this issue. This was Liam's own will to gamble. Don gave them another option because he knew they didn't have the money to pay the debt back to the casino. Now it possible that Patricia and Carl could help them out of this mess, but that may require Sophia to do something there as payment back to them if this becomes an option. So, I can't really agree that this is blackmail considering that it was debt caused by Liam or someone people would say it's Sophia because the reader didn't select the option to force him from the casino.

With Aiden and Bennett, that is blackmail pure and simple because they are using Dylan to force Sohpia into their demands. Aiden claims that Dylan meddles in his affairs by defending someone from being bullied or picked on, and Bennett is using Dylan to fail him in his class to lure Sophia to his will. That, in essence, is blackmail.

The janitor one threw me for a loop because if I can remember that one. Why would you threaten to call the cops on trespassing for someone that works there even though it was after hours??

I guess when I play good wife, she doesn't stray with others when given a choice. If I play the work off the gambling debt to Don Morello's satisfaction, that's not her fault. If she helps Liam's career with a threesome or a night with Liam's boss because he suggest it's good for his career, again, not her fault. If, OTOH, she screws anything with a pulse (in 2045) then yes, there should be repercussions. Maybe living in a double wide with a couple of recently released convicts that had been on the cell block with Don Morello's brother, turning tricks while they recruit Johns for her

I can't tell the difference. All three used leverage to pressure Sophia into sexually compelling events. The fact that Morello has the audacity to claim his blackmail as a favor is just especially bold.

Ultimately, however, I am not interested in which of these actions would be legally punishable in reality. I just want to say that there are clearly too many side stories in AWAM that are frighteningly similar. From my point of view, it would have been more believable to just have one villain in the story.

Also, the same goes for the colleagues in the school, whether principal, teacher or janitor, all seem to behave hostile and sexually threatening towards Sophia.

One villain would be nice and manageable for him, but I think he like his Baskin Robbins and their 31 flavors of ice cream or in this case characters.

Hey guys!
I quit! This game is annoying me! I can't get Sophia to participate in the ice game with Ellie and Julia in the pool. I also can't get Sophia and Ellie to shower and masturbate together on the 19th day! Does anyone have a Walkthrough & Guide that included the 19th day of that game?

Did you try looking on page 1? You'll be amazed at what you can find on page 1. The only thing that is not on page 1 is the new updated version. :p

Just a thought. Hit me just now looking at the Bennett picture. Sophia is perfectly poised and within the concepts of self defense to provide Bennett a coffee facial. Just sayin a missed opportunity. ;):coffee:
