So guys, allow me to divert the discussion to a different direction for a bit, as im also a big awam fan. With one question:

1. How can we, the community, help L&P to develop the game at an efficient pace, lets say... reach 1 update/2 months?

To be honest, I feel like money isnt enough, he already reached all goals. So what else can we do? Which one of us works in translations? Which one of us can get a rendering factory to fasten that process for him? Like for real...

Same question for L&P, how more can we help?

I dont want to give any story directions, everything is great as it is, as long as the story does move forward. So...

Your post is based on the false assumption that he needs help. He doesn't because everything is working as intended. He still has a lot of patrons and rakes in a shitload of money. Enough to hire help if that was deemed necessary. So he's doing what he can to keep extending that nice gig as much as possible.

It's a pattern that has repeated itself a lot of times, with various creators who were capable enough to make a nice hook and then proceeded to enjoy the spoils of milking until it didn't work anymore. And then just abandoned it to create their new scheme. At this point, I'm just baffled when people don't recognize it because it's a very obvious pattern.

So no he does not need your help, just your money. And preferably in the long term, not just one time as evident by that Patreon post.

I just finished playing the update and was (for the most part) quite pleased with the experience. Now that Sophia potentially has a filthy score over 100 she is acting out her new character as I expected. She is receiving and considering well presented arguments without the 'heavy' bias of her previous social construction. I like this a lot! It does not mean that she feels obliged to take actions that were previously inconsiderable, but rather willing to try new experiences she would never consider before regardless how well the argument was presented. It is my hope that L&P leverages this new outlook to offer his audience very new and different scenarios with widely diverse possibility. In terms of plot and character development I say 'well done'.
On another note it appears to me that L&P is more connected to, as well as open to our fan contributions than we give him credit for. It is said that good art is a reflection of its cultural environment. It may lead or follow trends, but is part of the pulse that drives its own construction. Case in point:
April 24th Jack presented this render in which the speaking character used an uncommon phrase.

I realize that this could be just a coincidence. However, the frequency in which he visits this site leads me to believe that there is some subtle influence he is willing to receive from us. This shows a level of humility and an association with our community here. If it is true I am humbled to be any kind of influence on an artist of his caliber.
In addition, I believe we can encourage him to act with a sense of comradery as opposed to reacting with a feeling of pain that he tends to perceive from our dialogue here.

I had few chuckles myself during the play-through because I felt like some dialogues or scenes were placed there almost on purpose to "address" some of the questions/remarks that have been circulating here on the forum.
For example:
  • The "guessing Sophia's size" thing. People wondering how Aiden could guess the right size for the suit, L&P even took the time to reply. In the game, first during the 1st side job with the elderlies she asked how they could have found the right size for the skimpy dress. Then in the Aiden task, finally he came with 2 suits, a little bit different than his answer. It felt like he wanted to address the problem with that move but it is also strange that there was no scene with Sophia trying both suits (ok... more renders etc). And for a moment I thought the two suits was a choice to give the player, between the open one of the first teaser and the second one with reduced cleavage.
  • Obviously the fact that Aiden briefly explains Sophia where they are going. That thing triggered a heated argument in the forum and again he jumped in to clarify. And Aiden almost used his same words saying something in the line of "what's in for me if you get harmed" in order to reassure her. Ok this one probably was there from the beginning because it was also logic to have that discussion before leaving. But still it felt like he wanted to stressed even more the point.
Disappointingly enough (for me), he did not show how Sophia managed to fit all the clothes in the bag... :ROFLMAO: I guess we have to take the render he posted here for good.

In the end, maybe all those speculations are not completely useless neither for him ;)

I played a lot of erotic/porn games over the years. Never really posted about it, about time, a lot got abandoned. This is, almost, the only game that i think is worth to 'fight' for. It's not 'hate'. If was 'hate' about a game like this i would just risk on my list and let it go, as most of the game. Its the opposite. I really want to see the end of this game. I really like the overall quality, but i am not a fool to ignore that he's milking.

I am not a teen, i really want to see the end of this game but i am not sure if i'll be alive or healthy.

If you roll back this page all the 'hate' isnt about the quality of the game, but the fact that he's making it slow on purpose.

Some QUICK MATHS because I do think the adult gaming industry is getting very very big, and a regulator should come in place.

L&P was winning 7 233 USD/month by the end of 2019. With an average maintained at 7.89 USD/Patreon.

Considering the average since starting was always between 6.50 - 8.50 USD/Patreon.
Let's assume the average stayed the same, for the sake of the exercise.

Today L&P hit an all time high in Patreon numbers, 1 741 Patreons.
1 741 * 7.50 USD = 13 057.50 USD/month.

To put it in more into perspective: 156 690 USD/year.

Not stating anything, just for those curious to know what should be his average earnings.

Lot of new patreons is people that just find the game now, it take so long to update that a lot of new players on site never saw it, its like a fresh game. After a while some realizes it.

Those is the 'argument' to defend this crap. And that's why he keep doing this tactic.

He probly would get MORE patreons if he didnt milk this way, and finish the game, got a huge ultra good reputation and jump to other game.

Lot of DEVs is known for this past projects and people jump in even without see much of the game.

I myself almost sign this patreon, it'll be the first one, now i cant, but even if i could i wouldn't. I would probably sign 'bone tales' fair game and story and seems that's have faster updates

Artistically speaking the updating is at a very high level. The most artistically successful scenes: Aiden, the painting part and the washing of the old people.

Important steps forward. Big steps.

This update is a perfect example of what is going wrong with AWAM:

[Way too many side stories]

This update no longer feels like a coherent story, but rather a bunch of completely unrelated events. Especially the side jobs are avoidable and only delay the progress. In this stories there is no connection to Sophia's family or other relatives. This events allone are about 2 Month wasted development time.

[Way too many characters]


I have no idea why L&P decided to introduce a completely new group of characters for Aiden's task. Why L&P moved this events out of the already established school setting just to create a 2nd school setting situation with even more students? Here it is difficult to estimate what the waste of time was, but the new room, and the new characters certainly do not fall from the sky.

[Unnecessary repetitions]

I don't know if you've noticed, but L&P tends to repeat the same situations endlessly in a different configuration. Aiden's task was like a mix of the fashion show and the sauna event. How many times does L&P want to ask whether Sophia would like to show her breasts or remain shy? The task has been over for a long time and all the effort of this event has not brought any progress in the story.
Also the Dylan's event was a combination of two steps already taken. We had the massages, the sports event in front of the hobos and Dylan has already groped Sophia's ass. All this effort with almost no progress.

[Unnecessary transitions and complications]

Not as important as the other points, but a waste of time in the long run are the unnecessary transitions. One example in this update was the motorcycle ride. There are only 27 images but still without any progress to the storie.
I also think L&P attempts in animations and mini games are a total waste of time. He is just bad at that and it adds nothing to the game.

Ultimately, I don't think it's about the community doing the L&P job. L&P simply needs to learn to tell its story more effectively. He needs better project management experience. It's a real shame that he's so stubborn on this point, because otherwise his work show talent.

Ya, it would be way better not to put a lot of characters all the time and cannot develop it, should keep mostly in the core chars and the others just passin by without greater effects or routes. Should be, aiden (cos it need to be), sam, dylan, the daughter and the friend and her sister. The rest just composing the scenes

One i started recently was "bone tales". It keep simple, same chars to develop. After a while introduced a new char. Some chars kinda pass by and have a small side story only to advance main story nothing elaborated. Was same with "max's life" and "big brother" they didnt put a LOT of new chars to mess up the story
