L&P said that it was originally planned to alternate the story from Sophias and then from Liam's point of view. When he then realized that this was not manageable, the Liam path was deleted. I think that was originally the case with the protagonists cheating on each other on their ways. Now the question arises how much of Liam's path is still in the current story of Sophia.

But to the swinger event. I don't think that's wrong with your guess. I just don't think that's the reason for the invitation. Something like that has to develop between two couples. Especially when you've been friends for a long time.
