I think this is the right answer.or just oafish buffoons
Exactly, that's how I wanted and imagined it to be. With L&P saying she need not even be incognito in front of her students anymore and if asked by Aiden can let Zac touch her breasts Infront of the class, that just ruins the story for me.I agree - there is a fine line for me. I don't want to see Sophia forced and disliked that Aiden was so brutish at the end of what was previously an incredibly erotic scene. I want gentle coercion in that Sophia feels compelled to do it to protect Dylan.
I have said before I wanted that escalation of tasks so that each individual task is "only a little bit further than the last, so what's the harm", without Sophia realising the cumulative impact of how far she has gone.
I was expecting and even hoping for an acceleration in the pace of corruption as we move towards the half way point of the announced 30 Playable Days. But this was a BIG jump. I can live with it because of the supposed anonymity of Sophia wearing the mask, although I still think there are revelations to come about the art class.
But with Task Four being at school, I am nervous of how far it will go. I don't want a backward step but I don't want it pushed too extreme in front of her students. Its a fine line....
No you can vote twice, or vote for as many people as you want in the same vote.If this is really one account-one vote then that's about 75% response rate, so I'll take back what I said about non-representative. With out appropriate weighting and with no control questions it's still a very poor metric for basing major decisions, that's not gonna change.
You're right about the internal consistency and that's what has made this game different than the typical corruption games out there. And now that this consistency is under threat, it seems bad for the game.I think part of the problem when we talk about what's realistic in a story is knowing how to interpret the game's world. Stories, whether they're fantasy or true crime, are at their best when they can maintain internal consistency. That's why Game of Thrones worked (for the first four seasons) because even though it had dragons, the rules of the world were consistent. You got stabbed? You died. You made mistakes in your political machinations? You lose.
The challenge for a lewd game like AWAM is establishing that internal consistency while affording enough flexibility for sexual fantasies. Most games are straight porn, and that's fun and exciting, so they have a different set of (no) rules. But games like AWAM are different, they want to create a world where there are rules and consequences......but where people can indulge in extreme sexual fantasies. In AWAM that includes potential incest and blackmail.
So when we talk about Aiden's tasks, and Sophia's stated intelligence, it can become difficult to understand how to reconcile the two. By the rules established in AWAM, it's difficult to imagine the next steps for Aiden's tasks without running afoul of the game's internal consistency. By the rules of lewd games, Aiden's tasks in the near future are going to require some sort of overt public display, something that can't be easily dismissed like tasks 1 and 2 in the classroom. But such a task would seemingly conflict with Sophia's intelligence and create a likelihood of consequences (such as being fired). But failing to push the tasks in this direction would feel unsatisfying and be a missed opportunity considering the time invested.
For me, I'm not sure where the internal consistency lies at this point. Between the Apostles and the potential of Sophia doing something in front of her class (such as allowing Zach to grope her) it feels like this game is sliding into porn territory. Part of what makes this game (potentially) great is the ability to indulge in fantasy that is just slightly over the line of believable, but works in the game's setting. But we may be slipping into Game of Thrones season 5+ where the spectacle is about to overtake the narrative's internal consistency in favor or wild scenes that don't make sense based on the rules as we know them.
I'm not sure I agree with your statement that the "pace was fine." We're an in-game week away from Sophia having her first extramarital encounter, and yet when this day began all we could talk about was how far she had to go. Even knowing what we know now, all I can think is that in seven days Sophia has to make a lot of progress with someone in order to feel comfortable enough to cheat on Liam with them. You're right about the internal consistency and that's what has made this game different than the typical corruption games out there. And now that this consistency is under threat, it seems bad for the game.
I don't even understand L&P's decision to suddenly take jumps with the corruption, the gradual pace was fine. She would have reached this level easily by the end of day 14 and become corrupt enough to cheat by day 19. There is no need to shift gears. Even at this pace by day 30 she could be a completely fallen woman if that is what L&P is aiming at.
After playing the last update I felt that everyone of these storylines will lead to Sophia having sex. It was mentioned in the 1st side job, direct statements at intercourse between Sophia and the boys in the 2nd, Aiden's task going way extreme than expected. I have always thought of this game as one which wouldn't turn it's main character into a woman who fucks every character she comes across. But the way it is getting presented and with L&P's intentions it just looks like excatly that is going to happen.
I really wish he shows some restraint as well and does not set it as goal to top his previous scene every single time.
This L&P did not say, it was my guess about how the events of Aiden's fourth assignment might unfold. With L&P saying she need not even be incognito in front of her students anymore and if asked by Aiden can let Zac touch her breasts Infront of the class, that just ruins the story for me.
I disagree with that! Zac and Alyssa were involved with sophia before Aiden and have been apart of soccer thread. Alyssa becoming close with Sophia after Aiden is inconsequential I feel that was gonna happen with or without aiden.Alyssa is tied to the Aiden route and maybe Zac as well, so dropping the Aiden route and you will lose Alyssa and maybe Zac too
Thanks for that info.No you can vote twice, or vote for as many people as you want in the same vote.
I voted for the gramps and aiden
I'm pretty sure Aiden was close.Friends, I recently met Sofia! She is certainly a beauty. I asked her to take my photo!
That's what came out of it:

I whispered in her ear that she forgot to put on her panties. To which Sofia, smiling, told me that she took off her panties at the request of her student.I'm pretty sure Aiden was close.
I guess you said a big "Cheeese" ...Friends, I recently met Sofia! She is certainly a beauty. I asked her to take my photo!

What really concerns me is not that the pace is been increased in this day, it had to be at some point. What concerns me is will L&P just keep this trend going every subsequent day. If that becomes teh scenario it's problematic. This new level should be maintained atleast for the next two days and then he can again go a little further.I'm not sure I agree with your statement that the "pace was fine." We're an in-game week away from Sophia having her first extramarital encounter, and yet when this day began all we could talk about was how far she had to go. Even knowing what we know now, all I can think is that in seven days Sophia has to make a lot of progress with someone in order to feel comfortable enough to cheat on Liam with them.
In my opinion we were badly in need of what Day 12 has given us. But there are problems. In my opinion, it does not break the game's internal consistency that Sophia could/may have sex on every route. But the devil is in the details. Are we breaking internal consistency if Sophia's corruption is advanced primarily via methods that would put her or her career in danger? Putting aside my deep problems with the scene with the Apostles, the entire premise is jarring and breaks the game's internal consistency for reasons that have been stated before. If the next task for Aiden has Sophia doing something in the classroom, especially if it includes another student, it will be twice that she puts her career on the line.
By the rules as we understand them, this should be a non-starter; or it must result in some sort of consequence. If L&P doesn't intend on us to think like that, if we're supposed to just go with the flow, then the rules have been miscommunicated. I recently played a game called The Interview. It's a fine little lewd game, but I noticed a ton of issues with consistency. For instance, while one character is getting seduced and fondled, her friend is nearby in the same room. But no reference is ever made of the friend and if she is aware of what's happening. So I contacted the dev and asked about these issues with consistency. He said "Oh, yeah thanks, but to be honest that was the furthest thing from our mind. We wanted to make a hot scene." And you know what? That's fine- if I'm not supposed to think about the game like that then ok, just let me know. If AWAM doesn't want me to consider the ramifications of Sophia behaving in a sexual way with her students, ok; but please communicate that I shouldn't care.
If, however, the rules have been properly communicated to us, then there needs to be consequences and her thought process needs to be communicated. It isn't impossible that someone may decide to do a 180 degree turn and throw away what they've worked for. If Sophia's corruption is so deeply rooted already that she would rather embrace it even at the cost of her previous values, then that can be successfully done- it just needs to be shown that she's making that decision. What we can't do indefinitely is this "Oh, I know I shouldn't do ______, but I'll only do it because _______ so it isn't really a big deal." Instead we need to see Sophia say something like "I want to do _____ and I know that could have consequences, but fuck it I don' care."
TLDR: I think the uptick in the pacing is fine, but we need to understand if the game wants us to critically think about Sophia's actions in relation to the rules or if we're just supposed to go with the flow.
Okay, It was put right next to the official message from him and so I assumed that he said this too. I was surprised as to why would L&P say something like that. Thanks for clarification. This L&P did not say, it was my guess about how the events of Aiden's fourth assignment might unfold.
As I've already had a chance to say in this post, in my opinion, from the moment the developer promotes a poll among his patrons to know which is their favorite character (except Sophia's), it's a bit like asking them who they would like Sophia to have sex with. So it's safe to expect that the first person to have sex with Sophia will be the last one in this poll, or even better we'll have to look for him or her from those who weren't even included in the poll like Mr. Bennett or Tyler.Has anybody else noticed that Tyler is not in the poll?
Other excluded

After the "Aliens" Ripley should of died as for the rest of the films they where terribleAs I've already had a chance to say in this post, in my opinion, from the moment the developer promotes a poll among his patrons to know which is their favorite character (except Sophia's), it's a bit like asking them who they would like Sophia to have sex with. Imagine what would have become of the Alien saga if Ripley had died first?
