But it does sound as if DrPinkCake is working on BaDiK full time, whereas from memory I thought L&P was studying full time.
But as my memory has already been shown to be suspect, then someone else would be better confirming that.

Hey, someone else using the term "glacial burn". But to say there are "no good scenes" is rather harsh. I think it actually says a great deal that Ellie has now had four shower scenes with Sophia and I'm still looking forward to the next one. And while it wasn't the MC, we still got to watch a woman jill herself off. I'm just hoping next time it's Sophia. And I think the Ellie/Julia event is one of the hottest (and sweetest) in the game so far.

There is nothing"insanely difficult" about BaDIK. The only way it's difficult is if you aren't reading. "Insanely difficult" is something like advanced rocket science, not struggling through a free roam in a porn game because you didn't read the story.

Edit- To keep this post on topic I'll just add that at this point everyone who plays AWAM should know what they're getting into. The frustration over the lack of sex after 4 years of development is invalid because even a cursory understanding of the game should make it clear. If you go into this game blind, expecting sex quickly, then that's on the player. With all the information at our finger tips it's important for us to educate ourselves about the games we play before we play them.

Another quote, this time from L&P's Patreon page.

"If this high goal is really achieved someday:

L&P's final patron goal, achieved a long time ago. Both of which would indicate a faster update progression, but instead they slowed down the development even further. L&P had also claimed to be working on the game for 11 hours a day before. All the previous goals also indicate a faster progression but it has become slower with every new update.

Edit: Yet another quote from August 2020 before 0.100 was being released: "Next update 0.100 will contain around 1300 renders and 45 MS Word pages of translated text! For this it will take 5 months."

L&P was moving into a new apartment at the time, had less patron goals achieved and less experience in editing and programming stuff. How does that add up compared to the current situation?

Again, I do love the game for what it is and I've been a patron for ~18 months until 0.130 was released. Most of my posts here have been on the negative side and I wish that wasn't the case, but there is simply nothing good left I could say about what's going on for quite a while now, except for the content we already have. It just seems to me that all the money I and others had invested into this project is slowly turning into nothingness. I'm not trying to hate, It's more that I'm sad how everything turned out to be.

Some of them may be correct - I have said before that I wanted L&P to learn proper Project Management, to cut down on some unnecessary renders and not try for perfection in EVERY render )not every render needs to be Michaelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel).

Some of them are wrong. It was nt two years for sex with husband - they had sex when they had just arrived in San Alejo.
And his number of Patreons tends to up dramatically just before/just after each update before slowly coming back down to similar levels as previous. Now I personally would nt give L&P any money given his slow update speed but many Patreon's do - they are clearly happy with his updates otherwise he would have a fall in Patreon's.

Bane71 with respect, ignorance is also a childish aspect. I do not consider you to be dishonest or sensationalist so I’m just going to recommend you to actually play BaDIK keeping in mind that it has an approximately 5-month release cycle and each episode (literally hours of content) is a single release. Then re-evaluate whether you genuinely still believe L&P is really and truly putting everything he’s got (or at least the 11-hours per day he claims) into his project.

I, for one, think that he would make such an attempt. He's an intelligent man who surely recognises what he's got & wouldn't want to lose it. I've always thought he was in his early thirties & could be wrong but I'm still guessing retirement age is a long way off. There are far harder & much worse ways to make a living, (or not make a living), as the case might be. We think that he's doing what he has a passion for & very few people get to do that for real, although we soon learn to act as though we are. Sometimes I think there's a need for a "reset" in relations between the Dev & this thread but at present am not sure how this 'rapprochement' could be accomplished.
