two times 10 percent -about 16 days until it is finished. a good 1 month for translation and bug removal. so maybe update early to mid- december. 6 months for the update and then it supposedly accelerated. i think it slowed down a lot.

She looks good and it's coming along well. My suggestion in this would be maybe work on the eyes a bit. They look too small, could be because of the eye makeup but the one from the game I believe does have a little bigger and naughtier eyes

For the record, you are arguing with a known pirate who was stealing intellectual property for a long time.
One day, after many a night of fruitless onanistic behaviour, he decided that he will, to put it euphemistically, borrow a certain game from a certain Polish developer and this is basically how it started.

A few months ago L&P forbid a very talented "artist" in the fan art thread of making more renders. And guess what, those renders looked very good compared to L&P's. We're talking absolutely the same range in quality.

So maybe two weeks to finish CS/RS then some Photoshop time followed by two to three weeks for Programming & Translation. Looks like a late November time frame. Plus or minus a week. I.e. approximately a 5 month work. This includes at least two new locations.

If the weights I've assigned are accurate and the percentages L&P reports are reasonably close to reality, then mid-November is a possibility. That would be about 4 1/2 months if he can pull this off by ~ 11/15 - 11/20.

I would agree he did for the previous update. But I like to take the present into consideration too. He has more or less stuck with his words in terms of this update. During the last update when he said May I was certain it would go to June because of the present conditions then. This time his words are more reliable with the progress.

Less events = more update time now.
Addition of new characters doesn't seem to stop.
Story has 129837 branches.
Still more characters expected.
More jobs.
Now the apparition of DLC promises which is a joke because we all know, himself included, this game is never going to finish.

Could go on but it isn't worth the time.

AWAM is so limited in scope and so specific in the relationships he's trying to develop that it is difficult to envision original situations and characters and dialogue that would make those scenarios plausible. And when I say limited in scope, the story's scope is being artificially inflated by adding more and more pathways to the same end. It's all the same, only the names will change. That's why we end up with the teen-meat-tug-off and flashing underpants to the entire classroom with the opt-out being either a mafia boss or a super-rich brother-in-law. It's just dross on so many levels. (Still love it, still gonna play it)

Being a cello doesn't count as making it distinct. There are several games where the male interest teaches the female interest something in a hands-on way. Bowling is an oft-used scenario, for example. Swapping bowling for a cello is about as original as swapping a banana with a zucchini, if you know what I mean.

The meaning of the cello scene is that Sam is teaching his teacher. And if you consider that you play as a womenn, then the scene is strictly unique.

I really can't comment on his render count. As someone who has artist friends ( not 3d artists ). They don't like to be told what to do and how to do, they do it of their free will. Similarly if he feels he needs 200 renders to tell something I'm all for it.

About the new character thing, I don't know if it was his message or of KillJoys that mentioned that all the characters that play a significant role have already entered the story by day 18. So any more characters are just there for one time to facilitate the event to be conducted smoothly. Example Xavier, he was there so the event could be conducted not because he is here to stay and will have his own route.

How I feel is that there are no new situations atleast for me. But the way they are presented or happen is what is enticing. I was watching an isekai anime recently. It is supposed to be called the father of isekai genre shows because it's actually an adaptation of an old light novel which recently got an adaptation. The thing is that there is nothing in this show that I haven't seen somewhere already, it follows all the tropes and yet is its able to differentiate itself and be a genuinely good show.

A more closer example of this is the art class scene. I have seen it in many games and hated it every single time, though here in this game it is my 2nd favourite. It is totally because of how well it was presented.

They sure are enticing and well presented, but not new, this story has a ton of common places but its been years since porn games started, at some point everything is just going to be a reboot.

It was me and all the characters that we know and some that we have not met yet(Nats boyfriend for instance) have been mentioned so they are not new characters.
As Sabertooth__ has said many characters are just there to facilitate the events(like stepping stones) and then disappear or stay in the background like the principal/janitor/movers/thugs and not play a major part
