What do you mean by patrons are starting to speak up? You were a patron as many others and you have been speaking since a long time ago. What do you suggest? That he should have 0 patrons? This game has such a quality that someone like you that hates the dev so much, can't skip one single of the updates.
I already took my time to school you and also to show you plenty of times how wrong you were. Everytime it devolves into wasted time because you're just going to keep writing dumb stuff that I don't have the patience because it leads to nothing.
I stick around because 1. I like the vn 2. I like the discussions about how poor this deveopment is. Nr 1 was actually a bigger reason a couple of years ago, now I mostly just enjoy discussing and being proven right of what I said years ago at every step this dev takes. Obviously I'll stick around now, we're at the "I told you so" part now. It's fun.
After you were caught in several lies and caught denying certain things were good for development without even knowing what they were (and you admitted that), what respect do you think you have from me to even bother with your petty arguments?

As for that screenshot and that poor comparison.. isn't the twist trying to be a game on unity with 3d models and awam on renpy and sort of a vn with rendered 3dcg?
People playing the twist are not playing it because of its image quality for sure..

- I'm so hungry I could eat a horse.
- I walked a million miles to get here.
- She can hear a pin drop a mile away.

As those examples, when I said "0 patrons", I made an intentional exaggeration. It doesn't mean literally that number. I have no problem in teach something new even to a person that is being rude to me.

Exactly, attacking someone for years on end just because you don't agree with the way it is developed is also not Rational. A normal human being stops after a while.
This is not the first time you have lifted the possibility of the game being stopped and it pisses me off a lot too. I too have raed the guidelines. The chances of that are low even if the whole thing is reported. Hence why i even screenshoted those guidelines and patreons thought process.
Also you just ignored the whole issue where your rational made no sense. You like the game but i literally spelled all the things you say about the game on this thread and none of it adds to you liking the game so much that you will spend years attacking the dev for it.
You guys know that once the animations for .155 are completed the next reason to delay the update would be that he is going to release .160 so that there can be a substantial release, but .160 needs a few more animations (50?) to complete so it will be delayed a few more weeks ( that will add up to months).
I left this thread last year. Seems there is even more drama this year.
I can understand why the dev focuses so much on quality because that is the only thing he really has going for him. If he drops that he loses the rest of his patreon subs.

No, that's not how an hyperbole works. You can write an hyperbole and the people can identify it as such, without having to explain it later. If I had to say that it was an hyperbole, it was because you took it literally, which it was not my fault but yours.

To me, and I believe for the most of the people, it's pretty evident that I don't think that you can believe that a game like this one could have 0 patrons. That expression is obviously an exaggeration. That's why that later I told you that his numbers are already low compared to its popularity.
The "0 patrons" expression was used in a way to say you something like: "Hey, his numbers are already low (considering its popularity), what do you pretend? to be even lower?"
And then I put the examples of the most popular devs in this site to expose my argument.

L&P has already said .160 wont have animations, so I don't think animations will be a reason for delays.

Then he should settle this argument by sending us about 4 new teasers today of the previous updateLOL unknowingness at its best again in this troll contaminated forum! I checked these animations just for fun from the latest update and explain you how things really are my friend.
These are 1-2 sec loop animations done with Daz Studio! And not that they're not 60 fps! I hardly believe that this is even 20 fps! It's totally easy quick back and forth movements without any realistic body effects or anything extraordinary at all! Plus there are no volumetrics or any other effects used!
So, 1-2 days for 60 fps animations? OK, then let's talk about the real deal comparing to my scenes and upcoming animations. You got 10 seconds animations with volumetrics and blooming effects. And you don't use amateur programs for the animation like Daz Studio but Blender. And here you use Cycles for rendering. So, please render a 10 seconds long animation with 60 fps, volumetric effects in Blender using Cycles with even two 3090 RTX, at least 10k samples per frame, with denoiser (lower than 10k samples would usually give aweful results) and look how far you will get in 1-2 days LOL! Have fun!
And it's not just the rendering per se which comes only at the very end, it's the freaking hard creation of a realistic and detailed animation!
But main thing, first just talking bullshit again with zero knowledge of the stuff, right?
