Two problems.
1.The animation is with characters no one cares about.If it was Sophia or at least Patricia or Ellie he can get a pass.
2.It took too much time for such a short animation.
For the same amount of time we got 50 times more animations in TGO from NLT.


You must start immediately playing more games.You can find at least 20 games with simular or even better animations in top 3 pages.


Do you guys remember the time when opening and closing the door was used to make up the time the console need to load next region of a game?

You have no idea how many i have played on here, Please tell me a games with good animations, Yeah theres a few with good ones but not many most are just daz crap

I don't think you know what a top animator is.
The animations were good but Jen looks like she's holding a fart the entire time, andre looks like he was dealt a good poker hand and aiden looks like he's trying to look focused while letting a fart of his own without anyone noticing.

Plus they add nothing to the game, the entire thing could have been published without the animation and no one would have missed them. That other dude who said that those animations would be made in days instead of months was actually right, no wonder L&P deleted his post.

Quite agree. There's something about L&P's animation characters that reminds me of the Thunderbirds puppets (if anyone remembers these?).
What's regarded as good animation these days is getting very near to reality.

From what L&P said about the aminations that is what annoyed people and also the lengh of time it took.

The animations we're working on are supposed to be of higher quality and not such you see in other games of this kind! That's why it also takes a little longer.

You'll get a great high quality animation promo very soon. This should at least be a little compensation for the longer wait because of them. And with such kind of animations it is a big deal People who're working in this field need sometimes up to 3 months for just one animation! Of course these are absolutely top notch animations, best of the best! We're not making it that complicated (at least for this update) but it still needs more time than from other games which just do basic simple animations without much skills!

Heck no!!! I like some of Jackerman's work but it is completely different style to AWAM. Adding Jackerman to AWAM would just kill the game. If you want Jackerman then go find a Jackerman style game.

Very sad to agree with this, but I have to. 2nd base was so hard to achieve for a guy she likes from a rock band after they killed that evening and he took her home and she liked him before - how can a home run be near? We still have not seen anyone getting 3rd base.

No. Hell no!! As I sais I like Jackerman and I have copies of some of those animations. But they are NOT compatible with AWAM. Jackerman's visual style is TOTALLY different too L&P. I would prefer to keep the two completely separate and enjoy them on their own merits.

That's what YOU WANT, and it's not the case for everyone. So be a little more aware of that. If i want a porn game. I go look for a porn game. That's not a porn game, and that's what most people don't get. it's an erotic game. the difference is quite big.

The most of us agree that putting that much effort in animations of secondary characters was not worthy, considering the amount of time spent it. But still I think Lust&Passion could manage everything different.

For example, the Freshwomen's dev is also delivering top quality animations, and those take a lot of time too. But he releases a beta update, without all the animations, for the people who still want to play the update without them. And later he releases the complete update, with all the animations included, so the people don't need to wait too much between updates. By the way, that dev delivers a lot more animations because it seems that he has more than one animator, something that L&P should have, there are 7 people in his team.

If L&P would have released the v0.155 without animations moths ago and later the 0.160 including those animations, I think the hate would be less.

Mhmmm i don't think you can compare the two. This to me looks good but not as good . the movement is good , the expression too but other than that .... well nothing, lighting is flat. The Hair doesnt move. Only the dick moves so no. I think its good but not top quality. And if you need 7 animators for that. Well i guess the animator that works with L&P did a solid job.

Now i am with you for the time it took in order to get the update. It is simply not worth it. We need faster updates. Animations or not

The animations, in a vacuum, are pretty good. Better than standard daz animations, and at least fairly close to other big developers and their animations. Pretty good for a 1st attempt at animation, and yes that implies that I believe LP himself did the animations. I highly doubt the animator actually exists.

They would've been received a lot better if...

- They would've been used on a key character. Not two side-characters most people couldn't identify in a lineup.
- LP didn't try to hype them as the best thing ever. Including being arrogant and condescending towards other developers.
- LP wasn't intentionally vague, which caused himself to have a lot of contradictions and inconsistency in what the "special" thing even was.
- LP would've been more measured in general. "I want to add animations in the game, so in this upcoming update I'm going to experiment with animations during a scene with a couple side-characters. So I can learn how to do them and see if it's viable for later use on Sophia and the main cast. This will likely make this update take longer, but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end."

First, why do you want hair movement in that shot? There's a lot of hair movement in others.
