That has already happened for the benefit of the anti-blackmail Aiden-haters. L&P chose not to show too much actual violence which was both mature & in good taste, IMO. (Those who love fake blood & guts are well catered for in games world). I don't know if you live in a place where gang fighting, or general street fighting, is a RL common thing. If you don't & were to see something like this every weekend, believe me, it would lose its' charm.
Anti-blackmailers, please hear this, Aiden has gone. You don't like blackmail, we get that loud & clear. No follower of the other routes has the opportunity to get rid of some character they'd rather do without & emphatically at that. It should be cause for celebration but instead there's been a steady stream of postings that seem to indicate there are fans who have missed the choices that have been provided.
Aiden is not due with another task for 3 days, which is 5 years in RL. So, IMO, I don't believe we'll see him again. During the next 5 years, if the story lasts that long, I wonder if the anti-Aiden hysteria will finally abate?
When will fans like me, who don't like incest, be able to get rid of the 3 or 5 storylines concerned, or potentially in the pipeline? [Honourable mention for Dylan, because he can be paired up with Emma & hopefully stop lusting after his own flesh & blood]. Now, believe me folks, I loathe incest with as much fervour, if not more, as the anti-blackmail lobby hate Aiden. I simply avoid it whenever I can, as well as choosing not to post a welter of criticism of the characters concerned, which would be quite satisfying, in a way. I respect those who follow the incest routes. This is a VN/game of choices, after all. Incest is common in corruption games, you see, just like blackmail. There's going to be a deal of incest during the next couple of PDs, (or knowing L&P, the fabric touching nods in incest's direction....who knows?). I will be keeping my distaste to myself.
As for Sophia's "weak sorry ass husband", who the fuck do you think got them all into the lifestyle they enjoy from the very start? I'm not a Liam fan but he is crucial to the whole set-up. There wouldn't even have been a Don Morello solution available for the blackmail without his most grievous fault of being a gambling addict. Even his down-side is vital.
