I only sometimes visit this forum so I don't know what the events of the update will be so I paly all of them. However I am skipping through most of the dialogue if I don't find a scene interesting. I also just check out some events from the gallery directly if they are not included in my gameplay. From the last update, I kind of liked the part with Sofia at the salon, flashing the dude and that's about it. I mean, the part with Dylan was interesting, and I might have enjoyed in another game but it's not why I play AWAM for.
From the little I read lately I expect to be disappointed about the next few updates which might indeed mean closer to a year, on the track L&P is.
I think different people have different expectations from the game. And the game is now evolving into an incest game more than anything else, because that's what most of the supporters of the game like. In my mind this game is about one thing and that is the corruption of Sofia. The fact that she is a wife and a mother is, for me interesting as it would be different than the corruption of someone else, like most other corruption games have. Everything happening in the game is a tool to develop the one plot I care about, her corruption. That can be through incest at some point, of course, and it kind of was used like that at the start, that's why there were so many subplots. Unfortunately for me, fortunately for others, a lot of the people supporting the game on Patreon or Subscribestar like the incest parts the most and so the game focus has shifted more and more towards that,After all, it's not only the title that's about Sophia as "A wife and mother," but also the content of this game. That's why I say it's a little silly to gripe here about AWAM also being about Dylan. Transferred to your analogy this means more that some people complain that "Jack has to much sex in his tanning salon" and me saying that it is fine for Jack to have sex in his Tannig salon because this is what this game is meant to be about.
Angain, No matter how you look at it, this game is not just about Sophia, but about Sophia in her role as wife and mother. There is not a too much of the events with Dylan and Ellie, because they are part of the main story. It is also absurd to complain about too much incest content, as this was clearly planned from the beginning and is now only being implemented. If someone wants a game without incest, they should really think about whether this game is really the right one for them. Not every game has to be right for every taste. But it is important that a game has a chance to be finished, otherwise it will be no good for anyone. That's why I say that in a game like AWAM one should cut on the side stories and not on the main story, when time is short.
