Initially, it was promising, but things changed once the polls were released. For the first time, he saw what most of his members were into as far as kinks. You can see the vote for yourself. Look at the top 5 alone; the money is with the teen crowd. So he is targeting popular characters to increase his member count and money.

Since the start, it was different, but I also think he had a different storyline for some of the characters but moved away because of the backlash he received due to the popularity of characters that he probably didn't think would be popular at the time he outlined his story. This is one of the reasons I think part one will get a rewrite for some of the story arcs so he can bring it in line with part two. Right now, the several story arcs are all over the map due to no organization, and the removal of specific components like time-lapses, so now he is moving with larger plotholes because he is trying to cram his version of "realism" into a tiny time hole of 30 PDs which isn't possible.

It's impressive that Ava's children are at the high ranks and people still want Clark.

It is also impressive that Sam and Marie are in the low ranks despite there was an event recently.

There's an irony in the fact that many of his fanboys urge him to, "stick to his vision," when it's clear that he not only hasn't done that but now makes it up as he goes along, aiming squarely at the 'unsullied' part of his audience. I worry about the potential for re-writing, (although Sophia "the nun" certainly requires removal from the early parts of the story), because virtually everything the Dev does these days makes AWAM worse. As he has already curtailed, degraded, or booted so far down the road as to cause invisibility, (& perhaps permanent removal), for my favourite storylines & characters, there's a limit to how much concern I have. TBH, I believe a writer with greater skills than those L&P now seems content to exercise, would be needed to halt this slow motion train-wreck. That the Dev can write well, in a style appropriate for an erotic VN, has been shown in the past several times but the last few scripts seemed to have been "phoned in," especially Sam's scene.

Again it's ironic that even in the light of all the above, AWAM didn't have to so drastically deteriorate to the level of the average teen porn game, (at best), including the hideous, anti-story-telling, event-based update methodology, if those updates could have been monthly as stated by the Dev.
