This realism hype that has formed among some here, perhaps driven by L&P sometimes a bit exaggerated comments in this regard, really makes little sense. Something that can be fun in a game like AWAM, where there are no actual victims and all virtual problems disappear when the game is closed, turns into serious hell when you transfer it to the real world. There are good reasons why incest is a taboo and forbidden by law in most societies. Incest (between close relatives) is something that damages the construct of the family, is extremely problematic genetically, and will be punished in the end. In reality, such things cannot be kept secret in the long run and actual relationships have no future. Especially in cases between parents and their children, the exploitation of social dependency and an often insufficient ability to assess the situation by the victim must be taken into account. In realitiy incest is no fun at all. If someone is really in favor of realism in a game, then these extremely negative aspects would have to be in the game as well. In real life, Sophia's behavior would destroy her life and her family. Just the event with the three children would be more than enough for her to lose her job and to go behind bars for years. Sorry, but let me be clear, realism in a porn game is a bullshit idea. I think we should keep porn games and reality clearly separated. It is exciting to see a taboo broken virtually, especially when there seem to be no victims. But that's about it. A too close connection between a porn game and reality is only a hindrance and spoils the fun. Not to mention that a porn game should never be a template for real life.
Range settings affect the immersion of the game.
I've written about it elsewhere, but look at Dylan's face when the game just started.
Dylan can never go to a nightclub because of his youthful face.
This is probably one of the reasons why LP retouched Dylan's face.
Of course, "Steam" is also the reason.
However, because his face was retouched, "Sex Education" became an unusable setting.
When I saw Dylan's younger face, I initially thought that the in-game setting of Dylan being a high school student was simply a setup to circumvent the game's content rating requirements.
I didn't have any resistance to the idea of Dylan receiving sexual education.
But now, when he enters a nightclub, and seduced by Christine, and kisses Marie, and touches her breasts, and feels that Sofia is protected from Dylan, the concept of sex education should no longer be used.
So I also said that the expiration date was over.
Imagine Sophia's face and body changed to Julia and Julia's face and body changed to Sophia.
Will the immersion stay?
People know what kind of education a high school boy has, what he desires, and how he behaves.
Now Dylan turns into a college student when he goes to a nightclub and into an elementary school student when he goes to sex education.
Just because this is a game, not everything is possible.
Every game has a reason to create a character and era at the beginning of the game.
It wasn't me who made Dylan's face little boy at the beginning of the game, and it's not me who made Dylan's face mature now.
The only time Dylan needed sex education was when he was a nerdy kid who got beaten up at school and was afraid of girls.
He was fine because he even had a face that defied his age.
Now he beats up a thugs, and has all the girls in the world seduce him, and goes to nightclubs and takes the lead in front of Marie and Christine.
Ignoring probability will break immersion and reduce the quality of the game.
Again, the background for this game was not made by me.
Now Dylan is a high school student with the face of a college student.
