Neither would you if Sophia was your teacher.
Was more just a general observation that what we're told about Aiden doesn't seem to match with how the game is progressing. Similar to how Aiden presents his ultimatum as if Sophia doesn't have a choice, yet she most certainly has choices, from getting him beaten up to simply ignoring him and sending Dylan away during the week.
Not being an expert myself, I rely on the google search:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
So clearly not "men looking like". What taboo would be about underdeveloped or simply short men..? Ain't there quite many metrosexual adult guys easily falling into to this category nowadays?

Would you miss any with Sophia waiting there for you? :sneaky:
I may have just assumed that it's about men because of the whole "All characters are over the age of 18" thing. But because someone might like the look of young boys, they make a character that is 18 but looks younger.

Like how Dylan is (I believe) meant to be about 17, but whose character model is based on a 12-year old (Tween Ryan 7) as far as we know in the fan art thread.

I think Dylan's hope here lies more with Christine. Even if nothing much happens between Dylan and Christine themselves, she can indirectly give Ellie a new perspective on Dylan. I could well imagine that L&P will continue on the same path as before and give Dylan a chance to show himself as a supportive or protected person.

It is difficult to speculate about the content of the next update without a preview. For L&P tendencies with scenes involving water, I could imagine the group deciding to go in the pool together in their underwear, ... Alternative, since we just had an event with water, I could also imagine that there is a sauna at the party, ...

I'm hoping for a twist, too. At some point, an risky ewent has to be seen by someone else. The whole story would then have a lot of possibilities for entanglements and for more connected events in the future. For example, what if Dylan can observe one of the events between Ellie and Sophia. This could then also give Dylan progress with Ellie that would otherwise not be possible.

In my own way I guess I was kind of gripping. The worst thing for me when reading a book or watching a TV show is figuring out the plot midway. If you are able to "predict" evens, then the fun and excitement dies a cold death. In the beginning of L&P there were so many things happening with many possible outcomes.

First Impression:
Sophia was a moody bitch with borderline "Karen" tendencies. With the movers, I though the game was hinting Sophia would become attracted to the thuggish and brutish nature of the movers and that would be a route.... WRONG

Then it became clear that the sister relationship would be the catalysis for Sophia's descend into depravity.... WRONG

Liam, I thought, then would be the cause to have Sophia looking for affection elsewhere.... Wrong

etc...etc....

Was a time where I could not put a finger on the reasons for Sophia's mind set and reasons for her behavior. But as the game has progressed, its clearer how to categorize Sophia. Now it's getting a little too predictable. Am just hoping the developer shatters my illusions and throws me off as to how the story will progress.

Fairly sure you're not wrong about points #2 and #3. I've been arguing that Patricia has been the most corrupting influence in the game so far. Some characters like the movers might have achieved a little, but not as much as she has.

As for Liam, since I haven't downloaded the game in over a year I can't even check the code, but I'm fairly sure the reason Sam and Dylan manage to get as far as they do is precisely because Liam isn't around. It's Liam's focus on work and the promotion he's seeking that prompts him to invite the boss over to watch the game, over date night with Sophia. She wouldn't have even been around for the Dylan event if Liam didn't make that decision.

He's not cheating on Sophia, just neglecting her, but that's almost just as bad. Still means she's not getting the affection she deserves

Guys and girls! I'll write once - the game developer is a GIRL! If you don't know that, that's your problem. But don't write about the mythical Boy!
You mean, that's what they identify as? I'm not really up to date with that new phenomenon.
I remember one of the first bigger delays was justified by a mysterious surgery in Korea, so it might be that.

Wouldn't be the first time. Dev of Free Pass wasn't fussed about pronouns, accepted being referred to as male, moved country, and then announced they preferred she/her.

I've been following since the game came into being, do not get me wrong I really like this game and its story and characters. the only thing that bugs me is how long we have to wait and for how little we get for our wait. I just wish it would be larger updates or hire more people and complete the game and release is in chapters so we can get more, give back ideas and suggestions, errors, etc for fixes and in that time they continue into chapter 2, instead of here after 6 to 8 months we get one scene...not ideal.

if L&P is "SHE" than, "SHE" is lesbian, because he tell that he have GIRLFRIEND
I feel like this game is very feminine in a lot of ways, so if this developer is a woman and she has a girlfriend and this female developer has homosexual tendencies, I think a lot of the arguments that have been going on could be resolved.

I believe that this developer is ignorant of men's culture and owns women's fantasies.
At the same time, others are saying that this developer's values toward women are narrow-minded and degrading.
And I agree with them and say that this developer views women as objects of exploitation and instrumentalizes women.

This is the epitome of radical feminism.

They are not friendly towards relationships between men and women and are aggressive towards women who have deep relationships with men.

They believe that all women are sexually instrumentalized/brainwashed, which is why they regard men as enemies and women who stay close to men as foolish traitors.

And their fantasy about the man they want and the way they view men are well expressed in this game.

And now they are fighting to abolish the titles 'man/woman' and they are destroying traditional femininity and encouraging homosexuality.

(However, I have not yet decided which developer this is.)

She was offered help more than once. Plus, she said herself that she would take someone to the team. As a result - a lie. Maybe there's a reason why she doesn't want to share a couple of dollars. But because of this, time, money and patience are lost. How is she going to conquer steam, single psychos are doomed

I don't understand the point of this post. It is a strange mix of your own prejudices and the prejudices you perceive exist in society. Also, I do not get why do you try to analyze AWAM (a porn game) in the context to 3rd wave feminism? It's already nonsensical to try to infer the gender of the author from the content of the game, but then to also try to link this to 3rd-wave feminism is just useless jibberish.

AWAM is a fucking porn game. Such games are intentional filled with stereotypes and exaggerations. Moreover, there are various scenes in the game that contradict your statements. For example, the game has both strong female characters (like Patrica and Marie) and those who are more conservative and weak in decision making (like Sophia) or even shy (like Emma). Also, If you look at Dylan and Sam as the male "heroes" in this game, you can see that they both come off quite well. This is at max neutral and absolutely not 3rd wave feminism.

The only thing someone can really blame L&P for is the high number of villains (which are actually all male). But here I would not blame feminism, but simply L&P's tendency to incorporate the same idea over and over again into the story. This is simply bad gamedesign. In the end, however, AWAM follows the normal porn logic in most of its storylines, which I think is the right decision for a porn game.

It is going to be interesting to see if many of the complaints about non-sensical plot and dialogue will continue into the Ellie route events on PD14, since that is likely to be the next lesbian event in the game.

Unless it's more about setting up the Ellie/Sam branch, since Sam is due to make an appearance in between the events.

Everyone has two sides.
In the post above, I explained why this ambivalence arises.

The starting point for me to form an opinion about whether this developer was a woman or a man was for a rather trivial reason.

I commented that this game was very feminine in many parts and that the developer seemed very ignorant of male culture.

That's all I was saying and then someone said "This developer is a woman" and the fire started, but then someone said again "It was a joke" and that's how the conversation ended.

Recently, someone said, "I know someone who worked with this developer, and this developer is a woman," and the debate started again, and I joined in because I had my own thoughts.

As I've written before, it doesn't matter to me whether the developer is a woman or a man.
Regardless of whether this developer is a woman or a man, to me, the fact that this developer is ignorant of male culture remains the same.
However, what is helpful to me is that it helps me determine how the developer is trying to take this game forward.
That's it.

I haven't yet decided whether this developer is a woman or a man, and even if this developer is a woman, I'm not sure if it's feminist.

However, if this developer were a woman, it is assumed that she would have been influenced by feminist ideas.

The basis for this has already been written in the post above.

And I don't understand why you react so sensitively to the comment, "This developer might be a woman."

As you said, this developer has been criticized for her many mistakes, frequent lies, and irresponsibility.
She has never been criticized because this developer might be a woman. Even now.

I'm not really interested in the lesbian route, so I have nothing to say.

However, the lesbian route has never failed so far and Sofia has never had any regrets, so it seems like it will go smoothly.
(Again, I did not read the lines properly.)
