This game has been problematic since day 1, almost 7 years ago, because the dev had no idea how to manage this project. It started with something like "full 30 in-game days already written from the start to the end" which led to dev unwilling to budge from his vision, especially at the first release overpraise by some people. Making a game based on his vision is fine if it's reasonable, but that doesn't mean that one should just turn a blind eye on any feedback.I feel like this developer doesn't know what to do anymore feeling more and more like he lost control of his own game to his subscribers and is too scared to even commit to a storyline
My main criticism about the game from back then remained the lack of actual plot. It's basically just Sophia's life (which is now becoming more and more switched to Dylan/Ellie's life too) of her going around doing whatever. There isn't enough hook to last for 30 in-game days because there is no plot. Yet, dev already promised and swore on 30 in-game days. So what we got is just constant random this and that instead of continuation of engaging plot. One update you get about the nursing home if you care, another update you get the neighbor, three updates later then maybe the hairdresser, and so on.
Add to the fact that it has been almost 7 years of development, we do have to wonder whether the game would be old enough to vote in an election before it could finish. Finish what? I have no idea what the end goal of this game at all. Why? Because there is no plot.
