It’s just tragic that his next major scene isn’t until PD17, which may as well be a decade from now. It’s going to take the rest of the year just to get through this PD.

Could be. The game is a lot like chick movies - lots of yakking with no sex and no action. Also, that fucking internal dialogue. Game would be much better with 90% if that gone and replaced by her doing something. 1 year no sex is awful for game development here - 7 is pure milking.

This is not going to end well for L&P. At some point his Patreon's will revolt against L&P and put an end his milking :LOL: either not supporting him or report again to Patreon.

It's hard to blame people for not understanding what the difference is, I've already written that textures are primarily new, and they differ greatly from the old
ones. He needed to hire a professional who would do the job efficiently.
He could have paid once, they would have made him high-quality textures that he would transfer to a new genesis
( as I understand it, when transferring an old model to a newer one, the geometry is adjusted and it needs to be adjusted a little manually, in this regard, he achieved quite a similarity, but there is absolutely no texture )

True, but as an artist I also understand the need to create something yours, to leave your own mark. I see all the Sophia versions as L&P developing and you can clearly see that with the progress of the game. I also understand why he opted to spend all that time developing new model and why he would be reluctant to go back.
That being said I do understand my perspective being quite unique.

Anyway, it's not his job, he didn't invent this character, he just changed it. Absolutely anyone can download this character and change it, it's a constructor.
The original creator EJ Adora created an insanely beautiful model, he is a real creator and artist, by the way, I'm not begging for the merits of L& P, he created a good project from assets, changed a lot of things, but it's still a designer from ready-made solutions, other artists and designers

Maybe I'll take care of this shit, and then I'll share everything, And I'll post it for anyone who wants to use it for fan art.
( to do this, I will need to figure out how daz3d works, since I haven't even opened it, I will need to transfer the old model to the new genesis, then replace the textures with higher quality, try to achieve similarity with the original. )

upgrading textures, in my opinion, is pointless. It's like trying to upgrade a low-res image to full HD, might look okay, but it's not really
LP said that the new ver is 95% similar to the old one, but that's the face in a neutral state. When expressions are applied, it probably only looks about 40% similar or less, and expressions on the new skin look stiff, as if injected with too much botox

Actually, there is a lot of problems with the original model. Especially anatomy wise.
Anyway, let's not discuss semantics. I feel a lot of this is a matter of opinion.
In the end L&P is a creator and he can do whatever he likes.

Agree 100%, but these retards think it's their game to decide what Sophia should look like and how fast he develops HIS art.
