Dad: My daughter told me that you are a game developer.
LP: Yes sir I make games for a living and also fend off rats.
Dad: Hmm.....do you work under some company?
LP: Nope, more like self employment. The money is good too.
Dad: So what kind of games do you make, like what are you working on right now.
LP: :oops::rolleyes::oops:,Right now the game I am working on is basically about a loving family. It is about a wife and mother who loves her children too much. She shows her love to them in many ways and is also quite a loving and faithful wife to her husband. She is a hardworking teacher with a busy schedule but makes sure to spend time with her kids.
Dad: Oh nice. In days where games are more about gore and violence, you are working on something so pure and unconditional. It almost reminded me of my mother, she too was a teacher but made sure to spend time with me and make me happy.

Dad: How has the progress been so far, can I see the game?
LP::oops:Ummm.....the game is still in development so I can't really show you much other than the codes.
Dad: It's fine, I hope you do well with the game and make sure to tell me when the game is finished. I would love to see such a family oriented game and will surely tell my friends and relatives to but it for their kids so that they learn some of the values shown in the game too.
LP: Uhhh Sure, when it is completed I will tell you.
Dad: Keep working hard son, I am happy my daughter has found such a good guy who believes in family values.

In ST-9's defence, he (i assume he - apologies if not) has produced an impressive library of spinoff stories and art on the AWAM topic, all before AI. Painfully learning the intricacies of the characters and environment, reproducing for our enjoyment, versions not delivered fast enough or wide spread enough by L&P.
This path way has been trekked by he and a handful of others (you know who you champs are) for many years before the blossoming of AI.
I think they have earnt the right to have an opinion.

I am NOT AI by the way.

I do not know how they will take my words because I am hurting them unintentionally.
(I believe that my beliefs are right and I do not want to deny my beliefs.)

Although automobile factories have been automated for a long time, hand-made cars are still sold at the highest prices.

AI is already being used in various fields such as music composition, novels, paintings, translation, coding, counseling, and bio research, but their jobs have not been replaced, and AI is being used as a good tool for them. (The painting is relatively behind.)

I felt that he was worried about "the destruction of value and the denial of existence."

I want to tell them that they will still be respected.
