Is L&P planning to upgrade his PC? According to DPC new video cards significantly increase the rendering times.

If true that's minimum $5000, closer to $6000, in GPU so fair play to L&P. I worry that time savings from rendering will be consumed by one or more of,
- Doing more and more test renders at high (or even full) resolution
- Doing more and more renders for each scene
- Re-rendering older scenes rather than waiting until the rest of the game is completed
- While revisiting the older scenes deciding that the poses could be improved, the subtleties of facial expressions could be improved, changing outfits and working out all the fitting issues
- Having done test renders for #4, decides camera angles could be better
- Having done test renders for #5, decides the lighting needs re-doing
I really love the characters and the scenes and have no issues with the story progression.
(except the BS spying in the shower, still think it was an amateurish and immature decision that provided no character development or insight and was an (almost) unforgivable breach of the Sophia point of view)
one rtx 3090 makes render in 15 minutes... so 4 will maximum take 3-4 mins per render....

but knowing it has 4 rtx 3090s it will definitely increase the details and weight of the image, so it will always take 15 minutes
it is better to have + pc to work in parallel. example: 1st pc render 2nd pc render 3rd pc create scenes

This was my concern too. When L&P made the decision to go to 1080p I was afraid that it would negate any gains in the pace of development. Until we have definitive proof otherwise, I think all he's done is change the scope for each update, greatly increase the renders/quality, and keep the same plodding development time. As I said earlier, it really feels like we're getting the worst outcomes from good ideas. His decisions don't seem to ever lead to compromise or structural changes. Knowing that there is frustration around his development cycle, this would be the chance to speed up development by decreasing the scope of each release, without hurting any of the quality. I'm afraid all we're going to get now is the same lengthy development period in exchange for short updates with more images at a higher resolution. To me, that's the wrong approach. I don't need more images per release, and I think their quality is already excellent. What I need is speedier development. The updates can be scaled down since they're only 1/3 of a day if that improves development time without hurting the number of images or their quality.
