I feel that Cathy event will have both. For reasons that it does not matter if Sophia leaves the store or if Liam peaks at Cathy or not, the invitation is always made for both of them. Also it would look pretty bad to be turning down her friend two times in the same day.
This could become an important storyline for swinging in future, because even on the good wife route the invitation is there and the scene exists. I feel the conversation will happen with both present for sure. And I also see this as an event which will only be talking and not actually involve anything frisky.

I agree on the fact that the event it's likely to have Sophia and Liam, no matter the path GW or FW. The event could be then different according to that.

But I found also interesting that, always according to the FW/GW path, only Liam could attend the event.
For example, image that at some point during the concert event Sophia has a choice to go further with Sam, like e.g. he proposes to take a little stroll on the beach (sunset or not ).
The choice will branch into the GW (Sophia says she has to go --> GW event at Cathy's and future swinging path maybe) or the FW, Sophia accepts saying "ok 10 minutes". And then suddenly there is like a strong storm coming from the ocean. Sophia and Sam needs to take shelter somewhere and they are alone somewhere (a cabin, a cave etc) and the romance go on during the storm. Which makes Sophia miss the event with a kind of good "excuse" in the eyes of Cathy (and Liam).
And the same can happen at Cathy's, due to the storm maybe the light is gone and something interesting can happen in parallel.

Sorry if I repeat myself, it's just that I see Cathy/Liam happening has a kind "warning" for Sophia FW.

Good point, as we know that Sophia will have to fight to get her husband back but we don't know in what form this may take.

I never interpreted Patricia wanting Sophia for herself, just that she's much more carefree and wants her big sis to open up and take advantage of tall the opportunities life has to offer without restraint or guilt. That may include Patricia+Sophia, of course, but I never thought of it as possessive. Happy to be wrong on this one...

KillJoys that would be a worry. We have realised recently that L&P does NOT have a detailed plan of exactly what would happen and when - look at the recent dropping of the time jump and the sudden inclusion in one update of Sophia as Sccer Coach, and the very next update being dropped to "DLC".

But I still hoped he had a good overview of the story that he wanted to tell. If he is talking to and LISTENING to his patrons then that is a good thing. But the worry is that he simply focusses the next few updates on whatever his then Patreons want at that particularly time.

Any pretense of being a structured realistic erotic novel would go out of the window. Rather than telling HIS story, L&P will be simply focussing on whatever random kink his Patreons want at a particular. Which would be dangerous, especially if the Shota bandwagon gathers pace.

I think it is an excellent idea that L&P carry out another survey, IMO is doing something very smart which is to poll (again) the preferences of its patreons and in that way give more content in the updates to the most popular characters. As it should be, Ellie and Dylan at first place, incest comes first, everything else can wait
It would be good to follow the poll and see the final results

I'd say yes to your question, of course he is (someone recently posted that Liam was originally slated to be the main secondary POV, not Dylan).

It's kind of weird that L&P would rely on a Patreon-only poll, though. Wouldn't he do better to survey a broader population with the goal of attracting more supporters? Or at least doing both to assess the difference in those populations? Just saying this poll is basically useless because it's got no controls and no population modeling: do $1 supporter votes get the same weight as a $50 patreon's? Shouldn't they? Or is it more likely that the lower tier supporters are more representative of the overall population he's trying to reach and should be given more weight than the higher-tier supporters, who are probably much less representative of the overall population.

And, he should do ranked voting, not pick-one voting. Then he could index the results and find out who actually has the broadest base of appeal.

Why do you think the meeting with Kathy is after the concert? What about the "A little bonus storyline with Sophia (with interesting options for later)? ... that takes place right after Ellie/Dylan and before the concert.

Yes that's another possibility.
According to the available information it was supposed to be:

2) Dylan/Ellie (very small side event)
3) A little bonus storyline with Sophia (with interesting options for later)
(Evening)
4) Sam

We now know that the parallel event to Aiden 3rd task was Cathy (the "parallelly another surprise event") so it is also possible that he referred to Cathy's event as this little bonus storyline.
The problem is the timeline, as we know it is supposed to happen between 9pm and 10pm which where I live we call "evening" Which would place the concert later than 10pm, on a school day. Not really realistic, as Liam and Sophia both mentioned that they don't want to be too late because they have work in the morning.

KillJoys suggested/foresee (correct me if I'm wrong) that the bonus storyline could be the call from Morello that among other things will give the comfortable solution for the 4th task the next day.

Maybe he will soon release an updated schedule so we can have some clarity on this point.

He assumes that Sophia can come along. Even though she rejects Aiden's 3rd task, she says nothing about a concert. She simply agrees to the meeting.

That first poll was predictable & given the compostion of most fanbases for games of this type, it's going to be the boy Dylan again. When it comes to the popularity of the shota, that no longer surprises me. There are trends & fashions in porn, like everything else & it's usually the young who start & maintain those trends. Feedback is important in any line of work of course & you have to cater to your consumers but I can't say I'm over the moon about even more incest & shota, coming right up.

Regretably, polls have been a bad sign in other games I've played, because rather than a balance the stories can more readily move with the majority vote. It does seem the logical thing to do but as has been pointed out results can also depend on the contents of the last update. Maybe this is how the game either speeds up or winds down? Either way, that overall plan we heard about might take a DLC, or maybe by now it's just a broad guideline?

Sophia could of mentioned it to Liam yes but he will probably be working anyway, but good point.
I also don't see this event lasting long as they both have work the next day if I remember right.

That would have been me. Liam being another protagonist was mentioned in this thread a while back, when people were using catching Liam at the clothing store on day 2 as proof that he was cheating on Sophia. Apparently with Liam's POV would have explained what he was doing.

Seems unlikely that old friends would decide, apparently on a whim (this was a vacation first, now they're renting an apartment?!), to make a permanent move to San Alejo on the brink of getting married. Would hooking up with Liam+Sophia really be very high on the list of priorities - would it really be anywhere near the top of their minds?

So, if the concert is earlier in the evening and sunset is around 8:15, there's still at least an hour of post-sunset time before Sophia might be expected at Cathy's apartment.
