Right here. I've warned about the practices of L&P the minute he started making bs excuses for his delays. I have gamedevs on dm saying they agree with me but wont say anything here so it doesnt cause a scene.
Anyone that has spent a fair share of time on DAZ3d knows this guy is just bullshitting patreons.

And for the new ones here, here's a resume of the bs this dev pulls every development cycle as Talcum Powder has showed with actual numbers.

There's one big pro: Render quality. It's great. Story isn't bad at all, good balance and good in-game pace.
Now, for the development:

• Updates getting more time to get done for less content
  • 6 months for a third of a day
  • 5.5 renders per day done on average (getting worse per update)
  • Less scenes per year as we move forward
  • More and more excuses from the dev (every update has an excuse to get delayed)
  • added: 2.15 pages of MS Word translated from german to english PER DAY by him and his "translator"

• Patron goals mean 0 to this dev.
• Every way of speeding up development get's tossed to the bin, every way of slowing it down gets considered.

• Incapable of sticking to a plan
  • Development just unravells 50% (or more) more than expected all the time

• Wont hire/ask for help even on stuff that cant be leaked (with excuses that don't make any sense)
  • Doesn't want a person who knows less than him because it will get in the way
  • Doesn't want a person who knows the same as him as "its just another him"
  • Can't handover translation despite suposedly having the script written for ages now
    • Clearly there's no script until it gets to the P&T stage

• Constant exaggerations to magnify his work:
  • There's no script beforehand hence why every update gets 50-100% more renders and no translation is possible in the CS/R stage. Why lie about this?
  • Expressions arent " meticously made by hand" they're made by marketplace presets such as Z MIE Packs // VGC Packs //SE02 // GR etc. (hence why the MC doesn't even look like herself in some renders ( just check the renders in the prison)) Does it get tweaked here and there? Of course, as everyone does it. Are they made from scratch "meticously by hand"? Come on. MC had 20 different faces by now, that doesn't happen if you're tweaking facial features by hand because it won't go overboard. Again, why say they are done "meticously buy hand"? Get a grip.
  • Dforce is used sometimes and only on clothes, not everywhere like he mentions like there's some huge big simulation going on. And this is why you see clipping of models on furniture etc from time to time, which again, its normal(and no one cares about it), but don't come here tell us how everything is dforced simulated and that perfectionist obsessed talk and what not.
  • Are we suposed to believe he just went ahead and post processed exactly 100 (10%) renders everyday for the past 10 days?
    • It does look more like lightroom than photoshop and if that's the case, lightroom is a basically preset factory, basically once they're set and worked on, it's done quickly as you can group the scene by lightset and you can't change preset per lightset, else it'll look off. If that's the case, 100 renders is lazy work.

At this point, based on this, my (and others') possible theories are:

1. He doesn't work on this as much as he says he does hence why he tries to make it sound the hardest thing ever and not accepting help from anyone.
2. He works as much time he says he does but he's the slowest most unorganized dev in this space (I doubt it, renders have too much quality for him not to know what he's doing).
3. He works on this as much time he says he does and he wraps it up in half the time he says he does and just stretches it out to see where he can bring patrons without too much work.

To finish on this regarding the DLCs.

• Who are we kidding, theres not going to be any DLCs.
• DLCs are now a great excuse to leave very promising situations (for instance coach Sophia or the Biker bar DLC) out of the way for now. Why would he do that?
  • Because that way he can dangle the "Lets corrupt Sophia" carrot in front of you for more development cycles and very promising situations where Sophia could get one step ahead are now put on the shelf as some sort of promise that he will do them when he ends the game 20 years from now.

I don't think many of us should try to jump on the moral high ground here, it is after all an incest game from the start, so we are all going to hell riding that train .

Not only that it's one of the only incest games you can play straight through without any incest or corruption, if you take the "Good Wife" route.

Nobody touches anything in this game unless the player chooses it, there's always the option to "stop this now"

Some people aren't going to like the side teaching job, some won't like the wrinkly old men. Personally I love it all, but everyone gets to make obvious choices. L&P throws out a few clues, younger sister Patricia had an early start and it's possible that a higher degree of shyness/shame kept Sophia away.

I think the move to another city, another lifestyle is a well-chosen foundation to explain future changes.
What's less credible is the short time frame in which the changes occur, but otherwise, once the seed is present, its incubation is quite possible.

I myself have come up with a few stories in which I believe sexual acts are believable, where sexual acts are not included just for fan service but can make sense. But I have no skills with Daz, hope to learn it next year then maybe I can try making something nice.

As for AWAM, some things indeed are a stretch to reality. A solo man working on this giant story, making hundreds of scenes is bound to go wrong, or run out of believable ways to continue a scenario eventually. Sometimes he needs a rational person to help him and suggest ideas. But then again it should be someone who himself is aware of what is realistic and what is just a normalised act in porn games which isn't realistic at all.

Why would I bother to play the route? I didn't even have to look up the code or the CG this time. That Dylan fans are arguing at all that he needs more progress is enough to tell me I'd be wasting my time.

When there are worthy competitors specifically in the same genre, where the main character is a mother, and she will be of the same quality, in terms of character development, I guarantee that he will start working faster, he sees for himself that he has no competitors in this category, that's all, that's why this game is so popular on this forum, if there is a development team with the same approach to creating scenes of various erotic content, I'm sure that many will simply forget about this game. The meaning of Sophia's name is an inception concept mentioned in the first scene, and plays a roll in the development of the story as well as her character as the story progresses.

Thank you for supporting the calling out of bullshit this dev is pulling with facts & numbers.

Two things I’m most satisfied with in how I set up the graph is
1) it’s based on data self-reported by the dev, so it can’t be challenged, and
2) no matter how you manipulate the weighting for scene creation, rendering, photoshop, p&t, the end date will change but curve doesn’t really change shape - the timeline keeps pushing further into the future.
