No and as far as I am concerned he has already lost what made this game so good and that is a shame and one of the reasons why I am no longer a patron of his
And that I can understand. And as I have said before, given the current frequency of update releases, I for one could nt think of becoming a Patreon, as it just would nt make financial sense.
For me the game is teetering on the brink of what has made this game special. So far, with the exception of the Apostles and Aiden being a bit too brutish in the 3rd task, he just about managed to keep on that fine line of progressing the story and sexual possibilities whilst, barely, sticking with what made the first 11 Playable Days so great.
Yes this last update felt slightly rushed with a few less renders to build up scenes and less effort made on translation so the dialogue was more stilted at times. But if he can continue producing this quality at this rate, and preferably tone down scenes like the Apostles, then as a casual non-paying fan, I can still look forward to future updates. However if Playable Day 12 is just the start of ever increasing rushing and drop in quality, then obviously I would have to agree with your sentiment.
It is a perilous path with precipices on both sides.
-On the one side, if he messes up these shorter updates and gets lost in adding ever more renders to even supposed small updates, then the game will peter out and become abandoned as Patreons would quit and L&P gets ever more disillusioned with 18-20 years to finish the story, and just moves onto other things.
-On the other side, if he rushes to get story told, reducing renders and paying less attention to translation as he tries to move to ever extreme fetishes to keep his Patreons happy, then we would lose the feel of what made this story erotical and special, different to most fap material on this forum.
-And just barely in between there is the middle path where I still hope he can accelerate the updates to get the game finished in maybe 5 years, giving us an accelerating path of sexual scenes and then full penetrative sex whilst still having Sophia and the other characters recognisable to what came before.....
