Something that I noticed and don't feel is talked about much.
No matter which route we choose, whether Hanging out with Alyssa or Yoga...
Dylan meets Zac on this day in both cases.
It makes sense on the Alyssa route but even on the Yoga route, going out of the way just to meet Zac. What could be the reason.
We are also not told, what he wants to get from Zac, neither do Sophia and Patricia ask that.
I speculate it could be something that comes into play later which L&P passed up in a subtle manner.

I'm just assuming it's so the Dylan/Marie storyline is on the same page - that Marie has met Dylan and thinks he's a cutie. From the list it seems that all events are in Sophia's storyline, as for Day 19 (PD 12) only 1 event is marked (morning shower) but there was also Dylan/Ellie/Christine. And for the upcoming day 20 (PD 13) no events while we know that Dylan/Ellie Part 1 + Part 2 and Dylan/Ellie/Christine. So I guess it's safe to assume the ones listed are in Sophia's path

It's true that if one skips the yoga event Dylan never meets Marie but do you think (or has it been said) that the whole event is only for those who chose Alyssa?
I also wonder why they are going to the hairdresser.
So far Sophia went twice to do her hair, once on day 2 / PD 2 because of the dinner with Andy and Cathy and on day 12 / PD 5 because the job interview. Dylan went with her on day 2 to change his cut.
It is "strange" for a boy to go again only after 2 weeks (but, hey, everybody has their habits

I kinda get the feeling that the Twist is still in play, the only difference is that Dylan is a coward and doesn't admit he Did Bad, so Sophia doesn't find out. Hence the statement from L&P that the removal of the Twist doesn't effect the story much. So there is some part of Dylan's original storyline that may be playing a part. Pure speculation though.
Rather liked it when Dylan had the balls to admit he Did Bad. Oh well.

I don't know, if the twist comes back at all I think the Dylan fans will erupt. If he does bring it back because he thinks it isn't a big deal, then it would display a complete lack of understanding of why the fans didn't like it. He never really seemed to understand what the big deal was, and only removed it because of the volume of pressure, so I guess I can see him bringing it back...but I doubt it.
Since the twist wasn't "that big of a deal" then cutting it was fine and bringing it back would be odd and unnecessary. If the twist was instrumental to the story, he would never have removed it. Therefore it must not be important, so why bring it back?

I haven't posted anything since the last update as honestly, it was the first update I didn't actually like. However, I think this is more influenced by me wanting to see a follow up to other things rather than what we saw.
I have been saying for a while that Sophia is at the point of crossing that line with someone else not named Liam, and everything you see is a step towards Sophia crossing that line. However, I just felt it escalated too fast with the maid and Sam.
I could see the sense of the maid scene if it was Julia or even Ellie but with the maid, it seems sudden with her.
Also, I could see the sense of the jacuzzi scene if it was Dylan but Sam seems sudden.
I thought both scenes were good but just with the wrong characters, at the end of the day, she another step closer to crossing that line for sure, as Sophia was very close to going there.
I getting bored with this VN, the waiting to see a follow-up with Zach and Alyssa, follow-up with Julia and Ellie, the follow-up to the boys tutoring and the next Aiden task is just getting old. I still think AWAM is great and mostly realistic but I'm just getting bored waiting.

Building substantial momentum, only to quickly lose it, is a feature of AWAM. It happens in various other games as well, to be fair. We've been discussing whether there are too many storylines &/or too many characters. [IMO, too many of both]. It always comes back to the wait between releases, which only seems to grow with every measure meant to speed them up. Yet, despite this, the majority of fans stick with AWAM, even though the many suggestions to try & solve the issue have so far had no observable result.
One thing that can be said is that, bored or not, the fans are loyal. I think this is felt more towards Sophia than the Dev!

At some point we have to be ok with something happening. Ok, maybe the action with Natalie happened a bit suddenly, but not by the standards of erotica. We can't complain that we get no action, AND also complain that what action we get happens too quickly. Natalie had been previously established in three scenes as someone that would push Sophia's buttons, so IMO it was time to pull the trigger. Did I expect it to go as far as it did? No, but a spark had been well established.
Also, why would the jacuzzi scene make more sense with Dylan than Sam? Sam is also well established as someone that Sophia has sparks with. And, let's not forget that the game has made it painfully clear that incest with Dylan is not something it's going to rush into. If anyone here still expect Dylan to have sex with Sophia any time soon, I'm sorry but you're living a fantasy. Very clearly, Sophia has more walls up towards incest with Dylan than any other character. It would make no sense in her characterization to go for Dylan first before Sam. Dylan is set to make major progress in PD13, but he's still her son and L&P is going to stretch that relationship out as long as possible.

really? so Sophia didn't let Dylan jerk off to her or show him her boobs, or let him change in the same room as Dylan, or let Dylan jerk off in the shower, while she was in the bath. Sam got caught spying, part of a bikini show with Dylan and one musician lesson, anything else Dylan was there for.
sorry but your logic is flawed, you're right about more walls towards Dylan but the walls are already well and truly down, we've seen Sophia battle with that many times, but still allow Dylan to get what he wants. Dylan is much more further along with Sophia than Sam ever was, granted the last update has changed that but with Dylan, the arc was a jog, the last update had Sam's arc sprinting to catch up but you're correct about sparks with Sam.
And yes I can complain about it being a bit sudden if I choose to, especially when I'm right. I did however say, the scenes were good but just with the wrong characters. Maid and Sam needed at least 2 more individual teasing scenes before what we saw in the last update. After all, that would fit with what AWAM has always been, a tease, something I personally liked about AWAM.
I do think it's time to pull the trigger but with the right characters, maid and Sam were not the right characters, although I must admit they are now due to the last update and that does widen the playing field, which is probably a good thing for AWAM but it comes at the cost of the last update, which personally I thought was one of the worst.(edit* when I say worst, I mean from a story perspective only)
However, maybe there had to be that one update that needed to push things along much quicker, so L&P can bridge the gap quicker between what he wants to do and what the majority of fans of AWAM want.
