The way the animations are being developed so slowly shows whatever developer is working on it is just starting with these softwares.
The fact that he says the next ones are going to be better with more details lets us know this is someone learning new things. Deleting patreon posts stating that this is too much time from an actual animator and being so defensive about it makes me think there is a 99% chance it's lust developing these animations. May 1 I think I wont renew, it's too many lies

And one of the reasons, if I may, is the story, which is simply.. lip-biting! ;)

Oh yeah but no wonder Sophia bites her lips so much, she hasn't had a good fuck in over a year, too much juice in the system is bad for her health, at least Amber will get them out of hers in the next update

When a release eventually does get here we will know if the animations were "worth the wait" or a "huge waste of time".

We won't know until the release.
I see only two ways one can argue it's "worth the wait".
1. If it's a Sophia sex scene. (We know it's not, but even if it is, there are many people who still feel it's not worth the long wait)
2. If it's something that involves some form of visual story-telling that a still render simply cannot articulate. (highly unlikely)

In conclusion, I think it's heavily leaning towards "huge waste of time".

Probably a waste of time - still looking forward to the update. And I will correct myself if I think differently about the animations afterwards.

The animations are a huge waste of time, no matter what, since L&P animates barely tertiary characters who no one cares about! That is completely superfluous stuff and L&P knew exactly why he started it. With the change to mini-updates (10 per play day) he ran out of typical lies, äh, excuses to stretch out the development.

The 0.155 update should have been out in January (and this as the latest), but look, now it is April, task completed. A mini update stretched like chewing gum with excuses so flimsy and false (L&P truly believes that someone who knows a bit about animations will swallow his lies how long animations of this not really top level take?)that only the truly gullible will be placated.

Why does he need to be so familiar with the new program?

He needs to know the program, has the assets and the rendering machine but somehow it's some unknown developer who does not want any recognition for his work that is doing the animations?
And then Lust deletes posts calling out the fact this should not take 4 months to do 4 animations?

Something isn't right.
Wait does that means if 10 updates in a row will have animations,he won't release any before the animations for all of them are done?

Yeah, doesn't make any sense to me either. In a previous post, L&P was talking about his animator doing the creation work while his second computer is taking care of the rendering. After that, there's supposedly more editing work to be done. This new post, though, is shifting away from this previous statement, making it sound like L&P himself is doing much of the work himself. He could totally be learning how to use Blender in his free time or whatever, but there's absolutely no reason to act like he had to invest so much time learning these programs when there's apparently a pro doing all the creation work. The goalpoasts are moving once again to fit the nonsense that is happening, and I don't believe for a second that he's got a helper (the third one within ~2 months according to L&P, by the way).

I said it before, but how is this a case of "very first real animations" and "any start isn't simple" when he's supposedly got this super skilled animator doing it for him? And, like you mentioned in your post here, L&P is deliberately trying to avoid talking about his animator, giving him any credit, simply telling us who he is. If there's someone doing the animation work, L&P could shut everyone up by just saying who the guy is. There's not that many highly skilled artists creating lewd animations for VN's or standalone videos for their Patreon or whatever platform they're on, which is the only way he could find and contact these people. It's not like they are growing on trees. I've been asking himself in one of my posts a couple pages ago, but obviously all he's responding to is the uproar for the deletion of a guys's post on his Patreon page, exposing the untruth about the insane amounts of time it takes to create 4 simple animations according to L&P and his "explanations" regarding this, trying to get out of the hole he's digged himself with the most ridiculous excuse.

"I didn't delete his post! Patreon has this thing where posts are vanishing for no reason! Happened to me before! It's total coincidence that this is happening to a post exposing the animation disaster! I'm the victim here :'(!"

This is really just sad at this point.

And judging by his Patreon post you quoted, we'll likely be getting a bunch more animations for PD13, dragging it out for possibly another 2 years considering how long it took him to create 4 animations. There's to hope that it'll be going faster in the future, but if we know one thing about L&P and the development of AWAM, it's that the development cycles only go one way. Slower, slower, and slower! Just awesome!
