While no progress on the next update, I decided on what I've been thinking for a while: playing it again from the beginning. The first few days are already a great reminder why we're all here...

This developer definitely doesn't care about players. First, it's been years but still no really sex scene. And those recent updates are like a bad joke. They are shorter than a butterfly's life. I was reading and catching up with the thread, and then I had this thought, which turned into more thoughts.

AWAM should've been the following choices only...

1) faithful to Liam, good wife path, simple yes or no choice, if no, then 2 or 3 choices available, if yes, then no 2 or 3 choices
2) Dylan or/and Sam's story path
"and" would mean lead to multiple sex partners at one time (3somes etc), "or" would be separate and no multiple
simple yes or no choice to this content
3) Lesbian route (Ellie + Alyssa + Emily + Patricia)
simple yes or no to each with Sophia


Everything else just happens, there are no 12 tasks, it's just Aiden being Aiden in the classroom and Sophia plays along if she agrees to both Dylan and Sam in option 2, so multiple needs to be chosen.

There is no major MR Bennett or casino Morello story, just brief things that help corrupt Sophia more, same with everything else, the maid, postman, the side jobs, going to the sauna with friends.

no points system, everything just happens linear based on the simple choices you make in 1-3.

I think this is how I would've down this story but the benefit of hindsight is always easier.

The major element that sets this game apart is the absurdly large number of branches, side-characters and scene variants that make advancing any one story line slow, result in the overall development slowing exponentially, and a bunch of bullshit scenes that serve an ever diminishing percentage of the fan base.

Example: Even though Dylan is a very prominent characher he doesn't need a Marie or Emma or Amber choice, let alone a Christine choice. He should just have a Sophia or one of the girlfriend options (and by that I mean, there should be only one non-Sophia option for Dylan - Emma is most likely and most obvious). With a Sophia/Ellie path, maybe there's a place for Dylan + Ellie or Dylan + Ellie + Sophia. Otherwise, the player has chosen not to have Dylan on the "main" Sophia route, so we should just see him in the background sitting by the pool with Emma, heading upstairs with Emma "to study", off to the diner with Ellie, but everything not directly involving Sophia happening off camera.

You are playing v0.161. If you’re not doing Aiden’s tasks then Dylan is at boarding school, so you don’t get the Aiden 4th task, Aiden/Jen/Andre sex scene, or the Sophia meeting Aiden’s gang in the alley, and you miss the Ellie + Dylan backyard and diner scenes.

Alright I have an interest of sorts in this update but boy what a boring teaser image.

Considering it now looks like this update might not even have Sophia in it, yeah, looking kinda boring. Although it does seem to add credence to my theory the event might be Dylan snooping around the Robinson's house.

Not like the most recent teaser image for DDoS, which had two college chics post coitus. At the very least this teaser could have had Amber in it, possibly in a bikini or something equally revealing
