Don't worry about it!

He said he did this remake on his freetime (one week every 40 days, he's got plenty of time to process this minor detail).
His patreons are all happy by his explanations, except THE 'pessimistic' Randy Klein.

Here I see people happy to have 4 to 5 updates a year (corresponding to a half PD), rather than 1 PD every 150-200 days as before. They feel an increase in pace from year to year (we are not going to break their enthusiasm ! in our post-modernity world, it's the feeling that counts, not the truth...).

The choice of the remake is relevant (there is no need to seize the opportunity of this to envisage a collaboration, stupid question from Randy, who will never have the answer on this point), and the progress of the game is very good (at this pace, est. finish : 2034 just perfect ).

You are not the first and will not be the last to confront others with the harsh reality of the game's development with the detached look of the man who knows how the world works.

I guess the post i spent more than half an hour writing just got removed or what, it was posted but now i can't find it anywhere, neither did I get an notifications of its removal. So much work explaining overexposure use and the reasoning we see it present in some scenes and so on. All down the drain. I am not writing that again.

After a few of what I thought were well developed ideas and posts, which were then deleted for 'off-topic' when they were on topic, I've taken to using Notepad for bigger posts. I save it and date it so if it does away, I can still reference it and perhaps refine it for future posting. We'll see if this gets deleted for 'off-topic'...

I've got 11 games I'm playing in a folder, all good to reasonable.

None of them are finished and in every forum for the game, there are people complaining about the small updates, the time it takes for a new update to appear and/or the Dev is being lazy or milking.

It says more about those people than the game or the Dev.

PLEASE someone tell him that the only thing he has to do is TO FOCUS ON PART TWO and that if he has a lot of free time, USE IT TO SPEED UP THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FUCKING GAME, once he has finished it he can dedicate himself to improving his old renders.

Pardon me, but that is an Äpfel und Birnen (apples and pears) post!
Yes, practically every thread has the guys who cry "milking" if there are two days without news. BUT that is not the case here, while you find these specialists here too, the MAJORITY of those who accuse L&P of milking are longterm fans and former patrons of him.
I am a hobbywriter and since I know intimately the problems when you do something creative, I am very, very careful in giving out the "milker" tag. In fact, there is only a handful of games on F95 where I would give the "milker" to it. AWAM deservedly is one of those few!
L&P is a proven liar, full of comtempt for his fans as well and development speed is abyssally bad and slow even for a single dev game. Nobody with just a single active braincell can believe that AWAM will get completed. L&P´s strategy is clearly the old, but proven "a sucker is born every minute".

The part I find amusing though is that in the games I financially support, the dev apologises for things like taking too long between updates. And my response is often along the lines of "No worries, I play AWAM".

Well one final thing i'm going to comment about of this conversation. If the dev wants to use their free time to redo some renders, that have bothered them, let them. It's his free time and redoing some renders is lot less stressful or demanding than actual creative process for new content, i know people that can and will do things like that to relax occasionally. Now if he starts devoting actual update time for them, then it's different matter.

PS. now i'm fully done on commenting about this update and discussion.

The problem is that his free time can increase significantly.We actually have no idea if that is not the case already.
