I for the life of me don't want the whole cliffhanger to be a tease and nothing happens because of it.

It'll be like those episodes of Walking Dead (Take the mid-season finale of season 3 for example) where it ends on a cliffhanger then when the show comes back the cliffhanger is resolved within minutes because of some BS.
