This game is amazing and the fact that you are mad about all the little things it just shows how important this game is to you. I also love this game, it's probably the best game there is on f95 (trust me I played a lot of them).

I love idea of different jobs, different routes of guys, etc. It's f**king amazing. The slow burning creates amazing tension, just look at this thread how active it is. I wish more game were like this and not some braindead guy fucking whole family after someone just tripping over some shit .

He's on my case as well. Time he issued some topical comments & views of his own, so I/we can have a right good "go" at them. So "everyone's a critic" & criticism is easy....but obviously too hard for some. Something far easier than critical commentary is to criticise the critics with a facepalm. Where's the discussion in that? If AWAM is still wonderful, let's hear why. Criticism isn't just about expressing disapproval of some kind regarding a game, it can be mixed, or wholly positive. If perceived negativity isn't your thing, let's hear about what you regard as the over-riding positives.

Don't defend the Dev, rather give your own views. He doesn't need defenders, as L&P could'nt give a rat's arse what I or other pirates think. Why should he? Unless they're amongst the paying Patrons, that goes for everybody. Similarly don't issue calls to shut up &/or get lost, because that won't happen. Why not state why you like things as they are, or give an opinon on what could be altered or improved. After all, 'criticism is easy,' isn't it?

On the other hand, facepalms from certain individuals may indicate that the original critical comment(s) hit the target. Indeed, they irritated somebody so much that the thumb-jerk reaction was their only answer. Given that they count towards overall scores could be seen as a bonus.

It's not that all the thing, and more, are not illogical. It's just that we have already commented ad_nausem on those before. The kid in the night club fondling a womans butt is current.
Everything is illogical in this story from the get go. Landing a commercial jet at 3000 meters starts it out. (Commented on in 2017) and the fact that it's only been 13 days since they moved here and Dylan went to boarding school for 1 night. You cant list all the illogical things.

All you have mentioned is merely expressing opinions about the directions that might serve better this, after all, extraordinary game.
The only actual criticism towards developer stems from his complete lack of work ethics and moral scruples, narcissistic nature and unprofessional conduct. Far from bullying though.

The point is that a game can't be everything. It is important to have a focus. That doesn't mean forgetting everything around it, just not losing sight of the focus either. If we're being honest, we have to say that L&P has simply opened up far too many side stories that he will never be able to tell to a degree where they really make sense. If everything is revisited at all, it will come across as an incoherent rehashing from as many as possible kinks and therefore make little sense. Just take the nursing home story as an example. To simply include something like this in AWAM provides no depth, but only distracts. If L&P would use more time here by removing other side stories, while at the same time increasing the connection to the main story, e.g. by having Ellie support Sopia as punishment (for something bad she may have done, eg. because she game Dylan viagra), then it would become a connected story that is more than just a useless kink run off. The same is true for lesbian LI. Here it would be better not to have so many girls, but one or max two, that Sophia then but really means something. Ultimately, too much is simply not an improvement but a deterioration.

Also, For the people who really dislike Incest, I really wonder if AWAM should be the right thing for them, because in the end it would only degrades the quality of the game. Even the fact that L&P includes a path in which Dylan is sent away, I think is a stupid idea. Who really does not like Incest, It's not only Dylan, but also Ellie, whose story would have to move into the background. I think that would be a really big mistake. Sophia would then just be there to emotionlessly fuck through as many kinks as possible.

Certainly, if I had just discovered AWAM last week, it's possible that I wouldn't have downloaded it, or more likely would have downloaded & played once, before deleting. I've tried most of the AWAM substitutes, or AWAM-inspired games & have kept none of them. AWAM for the first few years had, IMO, the potential to be (& was for a time), truly outstanding erotica. That's how it was from my POV & the pace of development meant that it didn't matter if some updates contained little or nothing of interest. When it slowed to a snail's pace & evolved into just another average teen porn game, due to last up to another 40 years, my enthusiasm waned.

Oddly, perhaps, none of the games I deleted were ditched because of the inclusion of incest but it is the case, however, that I just can't find it appealing. That may be a consequence of my tastes in porn being formed when it didn't have much of a presence & there was no "teen porn," only "porn" & that was for adults, even if it featured a cast of teens as large as that of AWAM, as did one of the first stories I remember reading, which featured a teacher & her class of evil, wayward students.

Surprising to see how many folks are bummed by the exclusion of animation(s) from this update, to the point of calling the event a lost cause.
Back when L&P first announced a hard lean into animations there was vocal protest because of how much they'd bloat development time.

Thinking optimistically -
Maybe this is a good move, L&P could be setting up to optimize the animation part of dev time by having the animator work on the previous event, instead of the event upcoming.

It would mean having to roll back to see the new animation, but if L&P is thinking about this game in terms of how it will be experienced by future generations...
(like our great-great-grandchildren)
