Anyhow lots of talk about Stream and other outlets. Maybe the developer doesn't have all the business acumen to try these routes for revenue. Though are there other sites where more controversial content can be posted that are not illegal? None come to mind and a quick google post lots of sites that seem to just stream virus and malware.

He's already gone for those who didn't want him in the story through the assistance of the Mafia. (Everyone knows how helpful they can be). That was a service the Dev provided, which was not given to any other player, like me, who wanted to get rid of different AWAM irritations. Still, the anti-blackmail lobby complained & lamented the fact that it couldn't be expunged from the beginning. Instead of smug satisfaction, there was white knighting, kink shaming & general muttering. That's gratitude for you.
Anyone who carried on playing the blackmail route, like me, was told that the intervening weekend 2 days before he was due back, would take 5 years. [Yes, 4th most popular character ...5 years FFS]. That's already stretched to 7 because of the Dev's unique sense of time.
In all probability, he's not coming back.

You're complaining that the fourth most popular character is 5 years without an update? It's now been over 3 years for the second most popular character to get an update for their route. And counting.
I'm finding things interesting at the moment. Whilst I don't really consider myself anti-blackmail, I think L&P has wrote himself into a corner in that (at least to me) Aiden is just an uninteresting character. Just as much as Dylan only seems to be interesting if you're invested in mother/son relationships, Aiden only seems interesting if you like blackmail. What's missing is a gateway, so that people like me that are indifferent might become interested.
For example, I was never interested in incest before I played this game. I actually started for the GW route. But Ellie and Patricia felt like fun characters, so I started and enjoyed their routes.
I think being tied to the Dylan route (and not having a route of his own) has ultimately been Aiden's undoing. Since you need to be invested in the Dylan route from the very Prologue, that doesn't allow players like me to engage in his content. So it's far easier for me to just skip Dylan's content and send him to boarding school, refusing Aiden's demands.
And there are no real repercussions. Even sending Dylan to boarding school doesn't stop his content. He's still in the Yoga and Salon events. And completely safe. If Aiden or his minions were to make and appearance and actually make good on his threat, then I might think twice about refusing Aiden's demands.
But at this stage, Aiden is just showboating, in reality quite impotent. I think it's a missed opportunity in that if Sophia had actually done something wrong that she didn't want disclosed (like cheating on Liam with either Dylan or Sam), he'd be a far more powerful, so interesting, character.
EDIT:
Like if Aiden actually had any influence over people, especially someone like Principal Johnson, and could convince him to convince Sophia to do the Art Class as a side job (since he can't offer Sophia the hours he promised), then had a recording of Aiden doing obscene things to Sophia that she'd be embarrassed about, that might actually be something I'd consider playing a blackmail route on.

I wasn't forgetting about Ellie, or Alyssa, or Nathalie, or any of the other characters, who apparently only served to enhance Sophia's corruption sufficiently to make her receptive to Dylan & Sam's ticker-tape vomiting slew of basic, transparent compliments. All just driftwood now that AWAM is in full 'Dylanisation' mode. At least she features in the next update & the Ellie-drought may be over.
I wanted Bennett, an adult, to be the blackmailer & I started playing AWAM before there was any hint that this kink would be included, so it wasn't what got me into the game. He could have become a more complex, interesting character, with more sophisticated blackmail measures, than Aiden could ever be but there was an outcry, if I recall correctly. How could this be happening to 'our lady on a pedestal' & in a "corruption game," (yes, corrupt people, in a corruption game, what a shocker), "the very idea, shouldn't be allowed," so it wasn't & Bennett went into suspended animation. This was at a time before Sophia had morphed into a brain-dead bimbo, walking-talking, pair of tits-MILF for virgin teens to bounce on. That meant that I could understand, to a certain extent at that time, the horror, when coercion suddenly arrived.
Bennett is another 'supposed to return' character who is in reality, redundant, like Jason & Haru & even Aiden himself, given that Dylan is now the real MC, is well on his way to fucking his mother & with 'porn logic,' anything's possible. Future plans revealed as to when heterosexual actual sex will occur do not bode well for Mr. Bennett. He's totally disposable & it would save time to have him transferred to another school, before he even talks to Sophia again.
L&P wrote himself into a corner regarding Aiden by having the tasks staged sequentially within a timeframe. This precluded the kinds of time jumps that would have made the whole corruption saga, not just blackmail, more credible. I could never see why Aiden just didn't tell his teacher that he'd drag out the tasks over as long a period of time as he wished. They could have been set randomly according to his whims & it would also have given more time for him, (i.e. the Dev), to think up & set up tasks beyond the school environment.
Way back, when I thought I was playing a corruption game about a wife & mother, I wrote a scenario which would have had the effect of strengthening Aiden's hand. That's the kind of pointless activity that I havn't indulged in for a while but it seemed a good idea at the time.

This game really is a great idea, but poorly executed. But then that's why I've invested so much time and effort into the fan art thread. And as much as I don't care about the releases of the other fan art games like Aiden's Revenge, I'll do what I can to make sure they are the best they can be.
Because the characters deserve what L&P might not be able or willing to deliver. One of my projects at the moment is Jules' performance of MSND. Which was a thing in Day 1.
I've played a few games that generated fantastic fan art but this is the first time that, over a period of years, the fan art outpaces the game & with scenes that there's no chance of ever seeing. I'll keep an eye out for Julia's performance.

I do recall a request you made while back for a particular scenario. Still not sure I can fulfill it, but hopefully I've provided enough detail for someone else that is more of the inclination to.

LP knows we are most interested in Ellie, so don't expect anything from the teaser... well, even the official update

Guys, I HAVE to ask because this is driving me insane. I can't get my S1 and pre-1.90 saves to work in the 1.90 version.
I have followed all steps in the instruction called " How to transfer your saves from Part 1 to Part 2 ", but this only explains the finalsaves, which I managed to do, as soon as I manually transfer my manual saves to the 1.90 /game/saves/ directory and I try to load one of those saves, the game keeps crashing.
I've also tried the CE Combined Edition if I can get that one to work, but I keep running into the same issue. Can any of you please help me and tell me what I have to do to be able to load my old saves? Thanks!

Saves do not work. This is because L&P changed some variables. For example if Dylan stays silent when he realises that Devon is ogling his mom you can still play the bathtub scene in full. Saves of part 1 work however. So, just start part 2 from the beginning and fast forward the scenes to the point you want to save them.
