Logically, yes - but logic has been gradually abandoned and those story lines became quite intrinsic.

Speaking of current side jobs I most likely see them concluding with the next event (no particular evidence just speculation as part of cutting routes).

I think it was already stated somewhere, but even if not - it is anticipated, indeed. In my opinion, like them or not, it makes little sense to chop them off now, after several sessions of each. The story will even more look like, nomen omen, Swiss cheese.

As much as it is good to be here and exchange thoughts in such a great community, we inevitably must come to realization there is no repair to this project.

The only way to "navigate" it was through control of the financial incentives. For various reasons it has failed, and now it is clear more than ever it is "my way, or highway" - even at the cost of tweaking it beyond any recognition.

For almost 6 years now I've seen multiple, more or less noble, attempts to save the continuously degrading development and chaotic story writing. I guess it's time to accept this one's a lost cause.

I think that he has left it too late with his stop/start events and now he is in a position where things will have to happen sooner rather than later but he will drag it out even more and throw peeps a bone or two with Ellie/Frodo feature but no Sophia.
