Let’s be fair to this…
AWAM is a game produced by LP and his team. It is his imagination and creativity. LP thinks that the current product quality level is not up to his (LP’s) standards… Or the current model used is not helping him with the images he wants to create. As a result he decided to make some changes that he believes will create a better outcome and he communicates this to his Patreon members (which is good). Not all of them accepted this though since they are paying and have certain expectations.
Yes, all paying patrons have certain expectations and they are reacting accordingly… It is part of the communication process after all. Some will leave some others will stay. LP will continue his own path for as long as he has the required support.
I see his actions are delaying the progress of the project! Every now and then something new pops up and the project falls behind… I’ve promised to myself that this PD is the last one I’m following actively. If it takes more than 18 months to complete then I’m out… Will not even bother to visit this forum

This has two meanings to me.
The first is people's reaction when the developer provided the oral sex scene that people had been asking for so much.
Many people, including me, asked for a sex scene, but this developer's fanboys said it wasn't necessary and this developer despises subscribers for asking for it.
This developer and his fanboys said that having sex scenes does not guarantee an increase in income or subscribers, and they told users who requested sex scenes to "fuck off."
But the ordinary words spoken by ordinary people were right this time too.
(For the record, I was disappointed with this update, but I think other people saw the oral sex and scissoring scenes and thought, "This junk car is finally starting.")
Second, many people are not active in the community and they are not informed.
Even if they are satisfied with this update or have high expectations for the next update, this is not the time for the number of subscribers to increase.
Whether this information is right or wrong, this developer has announced that he will take a break after finishing this update and will start working on the Steam version.
It doesn't fit my common sense that investors are increasing during uncertain times when construction is halted and workers may leave.
I don't think they are as active in the community or have access to information as I did in the past.
If this developer and his fanboys are happy to see an increase in subscribers after this update, this developer should continue to actively provide sex scenes.
As I said at the beginning and many people have continued to say, sex scenes help increase revenue for these developer.
What people want to get from porn games is porn. Very simple.

The interactions between Sophia, Ellie and Patricia are the only reason I'm still interested in the game. Patricia is always going to be smart-arse enough to put Liam back in his place if need be.
And no matter how degraded or corrupted Sophia gets, Patricia will always be there to pick up the pieces. Also has the money and resources to do so.
It is nice to see that the last update was on 06.01. and today is 01.02., but the dev still is not start to work on the next one!
I was one of those Patreons when I voted with the majority for the event-based releases.
We were frustrated at how long it was taking for each release so we (or at least I) mistakenly believed that L&P would produce content more quickly and we would not have 6+ months between content releases.
Fast forward to today and L&P clearly took advantage of that change, using it as a justification for slowing development to a crawl with multiple RL years required for one PD of content.
Best intentions, but not the best results!
