all the branches are fine, you just have to concentrate on doing them and leave out the bullshit: remove animations, don't change characters etc

And there lies the problem itself, if I am being completely honest, the branches add quite nicely to the storyline and are needed for Sophia's corruption, however the speed at which LP operates makes it impossible for any chance of keeping all the branches and completing the game simultaneously. As you said animations are hindering the process quite a bit and TBH we can do just fine without it but who is gonna tell LP.
