He was kicked from Patreon and depends on SS. That seems to have really scared him and that's why the 2nd job was a patch and calling Dylan her step son(first time I've seen that).
I could see this as him trying to go back to Patreon , he's afraid that this content might get him kicked from SS or that this content may prevent him from his goal of getting on Steam .
