Then one of the boys says something about Sophia's butt. Something in between that is very sexy and disrespectful at the same time. Sophia could go on “playing” but she's not alone, Dylan is with her. She knows he's behind her, she turns to look at him.

Cuck / Voyer route.
Dylan stands about 5 meters away from the group, Sophia can see in his expression that Dylan is watching the situation with embarrassment but curiosity. There is no disapproval or anger on his face. Sophia likes the attention the boys are giving her and Dylan, according to her interpretation of Dylan's behavior, simply seems to want to learn from his friends and gets involved in the flirting.

Sophia is still thinking “Normally he would be defending my honor right now!”
Dylan is standing right behind her. His facial expression is a mixture of frustration, anger, insecurity and confusion. Sophia realizes that Dylan believes he has no right to intervene after their conversation about last night. After all, he is only her son and not her boyfriend or husband. And even if the boys' last comment about Sophia's butt was disrespectful, she, Sophia laughed about it.
Sophia sees that she is doing a lot of damage and turns away from the boys and towards her son.

Well, that's a bit awkwardly worded, but you could unravel the narrative knot that way.

You bring up a very interesting point. Anyway, I think in the Sophia/Dylan path, he will defend Sophia from his teammates' insinuations. Because even if they did have that hypothetical conversation, it's natural for a son to defend his mother when someone goes too far, it wouldn't be weird at all, it would be something obvious and expected.
Besides, she likes his protective behavior towards her (she confirms it in the scene at the nightclub and while she's watching TV before the date)
