Yeah I feel that, there has been a sense that LP wants to keep things between the siblings fairly equal. I honestly couldn't care any less about Neil or Liam's boss but I do find it a bit comical that LP had just said they won't play a real part in the update other than being the guests of Liam and now all of a sudden we've shifted again.
Going back to your comment. For the longest time I've felt like Andy would be the first one to sample her flower but lately I'm warming up more to it being Dylan. After the next update that opinion could easily shift even further but I remember people saying Dylan won't have any events with her for the next few in game days.. I kinda find that hard to believe though and a change in that wouldn't shock.

The siblings are leaping a head of everybody else which is why I do think that Dylan will be the first to sample her flower as I never expected Sophias first to be her daughter as I had thought that other people would be first .Which I personally think lowers the expections when other like Nat/Alyssa/Julia ect have there turn it will be a rinse/repeat situation.
Pat/Sophia ranch event is supposed to be hotter than the sauna event so unless something excetional happens between Sophia/Alyssa( not just riding Antionio)I now have lower expectations for this event where once I was looking forward to it.

I really wish the Neil and Mr Harris watching sports would be cancelled, but I think that is related to the good wife route.
I really wish that the museum guys date would be cancelled, but I think that is related to how far Sophia will go with Patricia in the end. I think Patricia will see how different Sophia is now and realize she finally has an opportunity to have sex with Sophia, something she has clearly always wanted to.
