Did anyone registered on dev's site. He published ep 10 already.
I am afraid to find out how much it costs to get access to updates. Having to register at the dev's custom website is a giant red flag already...

I suppose someone could make a "fake" account using a spoofed email address to avoid giving out any real info. But how do you trust the payment processor of some random dude?

I have to say that it's unique way to battle piracy. The game is only available on their site.

It's also harder to trust, and probably presents a massive barrier to entry for a lot of people. I can see how it would be successful in encouraging loyalty of his subscribers, though, so it's not without merit for sure.

Maybe I will give it a go and let you guys know if the game is going good.

It's not dead, but it's "dead" on F95, as the dev doesn't use any traditional means of garnering financial support (he's not on Patreon or Subscribestar, or on Itch). Instead, they use their own private website, via which they distribute the game to their (paid) supporters.

Apparently, there are none from there willing to leak the game to its F95 thread, so we've been stuck with an update that's horribly outdated.
