I think the game should have been sandbox from the start or linear all the way not this hybrid mess....

It definitely did. The first release was off to a great start. The story was engaging, advanced logically, and was well connected with the game world. As soon as it went sandbox all of that went out the window--not to mention that the billion dollar debt and the way in which the characters all collectively shrug at the way you lost your company is one of the worst deus ex contrivances I've ever seen.
If the dev had just continued making the game he started in v0.15, it really could've been something. I think it also would've been better if the emphasis had remained on the wife instead of introducing a bunch of other characters. I realize he's not looking to just copy Wife Adventures, but having so many characters really dilutes the wife's story.

Perhaps, some just **sigh** and move on... a few games leak regularly. Guess it depends on the Dev - coming to a Pirate forum and to not expect leaks is rather silly... but I digress - hehe! :>)
Wow, this game got derailed so hard, my head is still spinning.
it was a very promising game after the previous update and i was considering becoming a patron, and now...
i mean, the game clearly hinted and advanced towards a slow relationship developments and corruption (stats shift), NTR, possible feminization, Sub/Dom variables - with various characters and the MC.
the MC was in a very comfortable position of power from where you should have been able to push him towards more control and power or to slowly hand power to other characters at your own expense. your choice.
and all of this through a screen of a mobile phone - it was very well done, and showed that it's quite doable.
and then BOOM! out of no where the MC loses everything, Blackmailed to act, billion in debt.
Soooo... the game goes into another horrible "sandbox" type game and additionally it forces you without consent basically into:
NonCon, blackmail, unavoidable NTR, Rape, MC humiliation and degradation.
to be honest i couldn't continue checking what other bullshit it drags you into after this.
this update has completely destroyed this game.
if the next update doesn't clearly backtracks from this, i'll see myself out.

- the interface is a mess
- kinda buggy (messages with a green dot you can't click etc.)
- after read once, you can't see the "message/chat history" anymore.
- i don't mind sandbox IF its good integrated and not a afk clicker grind mess.
- to many routes for other people, should be focus more on the wife.
- I's kinda weird to see different woman for the wifes pics, changing cup sizes, different skin tones, different pussies etc.

2. Yes it is. Devs get around this by using publicly available images and videos AND by calling their income "tips" instead of a service. The best practice I've seen devs use on long term projects is make the game but have a completely separate "image" pack that you can customize yourself or not use at all.
3. First and foremost, women are rarely ever alone. They always have a friend or two. In this game's case, it's probably because the dev likes looking at girls.
4. Because an engine doesn't just hand you everything pre-done. Take Unity and Unreal engines for example; they are GREAT tools to use but you have to build your own systems from the ground up. It's not just scripting values, you're literally building the things that interpret those values. I'm not sure about Ren'py and how it's set up but I imagine it's similar in that it provides a toolset but doesn't actually HAND you anything. The other reason it takes so long is modders are modding a game for fun where as devs here seem to be making games for money; that means that the longer they drag it out on patreon the better their bottom line.

As for your 4th point. These games are far more niche then majority of games and often get hidden like itch.io tries to hide porn games

This NTR game is becoming more like Black New World Order and less like A Struggle with Sin, which I think has best NTR. That stupid idea of billion dollar debt repaying with $1000 dollar flirting needs to be removed.

Or in other words, having your company taken from you and a 1 billion dollar debt is about realistic as being able to defer that debt for %0.02 of the capital a month...
Though I agree with you contentwise and have complained before that there's way too much obsession with 'muh bbc' here.
That, or its interface and story suit a mobile version EXTREMELY well, and we all know those are where the money is because you can reach far more people than just aging coomers on pcs.
