Couldn't agree more. I used to really love this game, but it has been getting worse with each update.

Was there ever a point in time when say the "swinging path" wasn't inextricably tied to heavy bbc/cheating fetish content?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't even get to the part where you message other couples on the app with wife without going through the whole silly anisa/jax charade. That's exactly why I've never liked this game - you can try to play it as an open-world relationship simulator phone game going on adventures with wife, but you soon realize it's not designed for that.

Up to v0.4.6 you could at least get to the Wife+Christina+MC FFM content without the wife ever cheating on the MC.
When with 0.4.7 the route seperation happened i've suggested an "Alpha" tweaking of sharing branch in which everything happens as usual but before MC and wife are meeting up with Anissa and Jax the wife would call it off because she felt guilty for deceiving the MC into it. And giving it another try with the M&F app afterwards with both agreeing to it. If the player isn't interested in sharing the wife with another man you could even skip over the first time with Rae and her BF and go straight to the Wife+Rae+MC threesome when her BF lost interest.
Nearly no additional work be needed to make something like that happen since 95% of the content is already there.
Just need to add a codeline that skips a couple of steps when "NTR off"=true and add a step with a short conversation where the wife calls the meeting off, and maybe a choice for Rae+BF sharing content or skip to the FFM meeting afterwards because Rae's BF got called into work or something like that.
The end of the FFM branch became annoying again when Jenna started to butt in and wanted to turn it into a BBC MMF.
That's a very reasonable suggestion, but I don't think it'll ever be done by the dev himself. Myself I have no problem with the mfmf swinger setups like rae and her bf when they're done outside this heavy 'ntr deception' context, like anisa and jax were. But Dev is too insistent on making MC look like a sucker, like he's second chair.

I don't really think this dev (and others as well) understand the concept of a protagonist. He's the hero of the story, the focal point of the narrative, not a side character. If you're going to make a pure cuck or siss game that's fine, but don't offer choices if they don't matter. There should be an alpha route if you're going to have choices matter. What good is a cuck "route" if ALL routes lead to it?
Last I played this game there was a massive bug where suddenly my wife who had cheating and BBC scores of pretty much zero went from never having cheated to fucking every BBC she could get her greedy little hands on. It just skipped like 20 events and steps in that route and went straight to whore. I stopped playing after three updates without fixing that bug. Since no changelogs ever get posted I don't know if it ever got fixed and can't be bothered to play it again to find out.
From the sound of these comments I made the right choice anyway.

This update was 99% blacked stuff, and a choice where you could change your brother into a woman. I think this just isn't really for me anymore. I just wanted to do swinging stuff (with partners of various races). not cuck for black guys.
Does the game still force you to use the app on yourself? That kinda killed it for me. Not super into the cuck thing but at the end of the day it's a porn game and I'm looking at porn so I only 90% hated that. But forcing you to get bamfed when it didn't before caused me to alt+f4 quick.
Moral of the story, guess I'm with the people who liked it up to 4.6. Has anything gone toward going back to that or naw?

There is a variety of fetishes and routes represented that people can pursue depending on their preferences, or choose not to play the game altogether. But the technical state of the game seems to be fucking miserable as of now. Or it has been since 0.4.5 till recently, dunno about 0.5.0.

well well wellPeople wanted the developer to listen to their patrons, so they did.
I remember in the beginning I "voiced" my concerns that I hope that the dev has a storyline and wont listen to his patreons or at least only to a certain degree...
Now look at the game, the stats in the wifespy app are useless and not even clickable and there are no real decisions you can make and everything seems forced.
The debt storyline is bullshit as fuck.... A billion $ debt but look a friend will give you the opportunity to earn money (from owner of a restaurant to owner of a bank) which has no impact to the game!
When I wasn't even done with the sissification storyline I already had multi billions but still had to do stuff for salim for 20million...
A once very promising game turned out to become a clusterfuck because of money greed without passion...
