this nonesense summary , we did not fuck jenni , we did not take revenge on salim by screwing his family or whoring them , just add jenna , make her attracted to you then stop , hopefully we dont wait for 2+ years for an update.

I believe you are talking about the add MC, add wife, ntr option at gym. to avoid the other stuff you have to deny sissification/fem offers a few times, Salim App and Jenna all reccomend or offer those at some point. aside from slightly confused wording with Salim easy enough to avoid.
however, if you want to avoid all the extra influence on the wife, in the end, to the update at hand, it all off the rails and MC is left to masturbate only no matter what choices are made. best example, many updates back the wife going QOS is an option, even if you choose no, she eventually goes QOS anyway. and if you choose yes, she screws white guys anyway. either way wife stops screwing MC saying she only bangs black dudes and he has more fun not having sex with her. then MC complains or thinks he misses pussy but then does right back to simping to wife, oh and her sister and niece. for people who are into being caged or denied sex, great, but the lack of choice in the end is what im referring to as problematic. basically on this route no matter MC's choice he winds up acting like someone else is controlling him. oh and he lets the people who betrayed him screw his wife and humiliate him constantly, she does to and likes it. once again, fine if it gets you off, but there is no choice in the matter. which makes no sense, cause MC has himself and his wife on the app, giving him all the power, while he has none? anyway hope aside from my rant and extra info it answered your question

Alot of this goes back to the infamous 4.5/4.7 updates where he had to simplify things because the branches were out of control. I mean I'm trying to figure now since the stats no longer mean anything how he's coming up with the addictions which seem to have replaced stats. And if the addictions don't mean anything why have them because it sounds like they can't be influenced.

I do believe like some have said here that it went from an open world to basically linear. It seems now there are a few choices that matter but the rest are just clicking buttons. If you were playing the earlier versions there is point where the app moderators step in and make it so the wife won't cheat anymore and in return you gave up control in the app and that's
obviously gone as it seems like no matter what almost the wife ends up a QofS.

Bottom line I think is that if you're an older player of this based on what it was and what it is now you're probably not going to be thrilled.

What I am wondering moreso is if this is just heading to be exactly like another game on here "A wife's life" I think its called.
I played a little of that and that was so stupid I had to stop playing. The characters in that game were so awful and it was just became like "okay, how much can I punish the MC".

the alpha add mc no add wife doesnt really punish the mc in the later updates, though as much of the games mechanics are tedious and some character interactions are annoying, its close to what one might want with a revenge storyline for MC. its also not as confusing as the story in wifes life. but everything else has certainly confused things. still, i found this update to be more focused on my preferred saves, still lacking. didnt hate it though and ill come back, unlike wife life which i left and havent played in many updates. i do enjoy reading the thread from time to time. anyway happy playing whatever it is!

Made an update when v0.5.0 came out and might still be helpful for the latest version, but currently i'm lacking the time and motivation to go through all the games pathes again to see if there were any changes.

The main issue is and I get it. According to the dev you should start a clean fresh game but if you're someone who had put serious time into the game that's a whole lot of grinding time and I've stated that before. You have some people who say it isn't but then you have periods where you may have to go through 5 or 6 days to advance once step on a branch and you have branches that are hundreds of steps long.

The game should have replayablility due to its separate branches but who's going through all those steps over and over again?

Some will say you can skip but to me skipping unless I misunderstand something would mean possibly missing content.

I think that's the main issue people have with starting a fresh clean game is that with the length of the game it's too little content, which can also mean doing the same thing over and over again, for such an extended amount of time.

Basically a case of too much effort for too little reward.

jenna val is 750 steps even if you had something every three days that's over 2000 game days and thats not counting having to progress other paths to keep that path moving.

sons path if feminized is like around 250.

Again also pointing to why people aren't really willing to start a fresh clean game.

And that's only two storylines.

Why did the fucking saveeditor stop working, it says that you changed the files with a third-party saveeditor and are you sure, you tell me, fuck it, I agree, and nothing happens. Lol, I even tried damn artmoney to change the steps and it didn't fucking work either. It takes more than 600 steps again to change some decision, this is a fucking mockery. DV I hope you have the courage to make a version where steps can be edited/added/specified.

The problem isn't just the save editor. Discussed this with him in discord. I actually understand why he did what did. I am not saying I agree with it. The game was very ambitious in the beginning but I don't want to rehash all that. You know all of that.
In order to make things manageable its not just the save files. Logic was edited so that certain changes in the save files will now break other things. I understand that too.

Now however as you're stating and I pointed this out in another post. You're telling people to go through another couple thousand "game days". And no matter what anyone says on here it would be another couple thousand game days.

Most people aren't going to have that kind of patience. Especially when the days start to become monotonous.

i mean more WHEN!! to save because a branch is splitting, cause it closes other branches ^^ and what NOT to choose if you are on alpha for example
