Ren'Py - A Wife's Phone [v0.6.5] [Bloody Ink/Scyxar Studios]

This is more like a linear "Visual" (actually text with photos) novel than a sandbox game.
It has various relationships mixed together that appear in specific order to give a "sandbox effect".
Even though it has a counter system for number of days, corruption, resistance, cuckold, ntr, obedience, etc. none of these are taken in consideration or have any effect in the gameplay (except from 4 specific events).

So, as a Visual novel I'd give it a 4 stars.... but as a game play where the choices of the player affect the dialogs/events only 1 star.

Amazing game. Priority focus on NTR, but there are many other options. I would like a little more freedom of choice and a different fetish and it could actually be perfect. The style of the text dialogues is simple and realistic. It uses a smart system when you watch everything from your smartphone. Through this device you communicate with people and see the results as photos and videos. The photos and models fit the scene and the concept is very exciting so far. Pretty hot so far, nice and slow with the corruption, I love the dynamic between the MC and the wife, the side characters are interesting too. I wonder where this is all going, will the son get some action with the mom? I look forward to the next installment

A Wife's Phone is an example of a mediocre game that goes downhill fast. This review is current as of the v0.3.0 update and may contain heavy spoilers.

A Wife's Phone is a 'real porn' game that focuses almost entirely on hypnotic corruption for the purposes of BBC NTR cuckold gameplay. The entire game is seen from the perspective of the player's phone. At times, the player will switch to using the phone of other characters. There are paths for the MC and wife to remain faithful but that story goes nowhere and is boring as hell. All the other love interests will be hardwired to go for BBC even if you choose ANY of the other corruption options (including the wife).

The game started out as an interesting concept and had some interesting dynamics between the MC and his wife. However, by the end of the last update, there is no way to avoid the wife cheating on her husband. Even worse, the wife tries to set up the husband to "cheat" so she can continue to have sex with as much BBC as she wants. That storyline alone is a reason to lose any interest in continuing the game. The first release had a sexy allure between the wife and the MC. As she becomes corrupted, that interaction becomes routinely boring with no change and excitement. The wife's attitude goes from acting virginal and naive to being a complete whore. The next day she is right back to being sweet and loving. That would be fine if the content matched. Instead, it is a mismatch of stories and a failure to support each type of content.

In order to get through the ridiculous grind, there is a time-of-day skip button that has to be used three times per day to get to the next day. Each major event is scheduled to happen roughly on a three- to seven-day schedule. As you can see, that requires A LOT of skipping just to get one small event to happen.

As mentioned, the game uses 'real porn' footage to have any sex scenes. Nearly all of the sex scenes are focused on BBC. There are some scenes between MC and stepsister or the MC and secretary. A social media app is used to create "spicy" communication between characters and provide occasional sex opportunities. There is a large lack of video or image content for the other kink content (i.e. BWC, Group, etc.).

There are so many missed opportunities to add good sex scenes or realistic drama into the story. However, it plays out exactly as you can imagine with no surprises. While you, as the MC, are controlling corruption through a phone app, other characters are doing the same to the characters you are trying to control. This works to undo the effort you put into corrupting a woman, either to have sex with her yourself or turn into a slut.

The latest update is focused on sissification. If you choose to avoid the few pieces that are avoidable, of course, the content available to you will be limited.

If BBC NTR is your thing, then this game will likely be high on your list and explains the number of five-star reviews with no attempt to explain what content is available. It is completely fair to say this game is a skip for most players outside of the BBC fan club.

Very addictive, nice possibilities, expect that influence on branches will raise with time, so far excellent job. Well written, nice options, and yeah some things are repetitive, but hey still in development. In similar stages usually devs offer way fewer options, so that's why so far 5 stars.

Loved the concept of game. Just that now it has too many branches to follow makes it a bit more clunky and there are also some bugs in the game but still with these the game deserves a 5 star rating from me. Waiting for next update

This game is sensational, the amount of images that appear and the fact that there are no images of the encounters is annoying but the writing is so good that it stopped bothering me.

The updates are gigantic and contain a lot of content, but a negative point is the number of commands that are given to a person, as the command is only given a few times. Another thing is that it would be interesting whenever adding a person can have the same options as adding the son and Mia of increasing obedience, corruption, etc.

The whole game is played via your phone, you can play it on PC or in an Android device to give it more realism.

You are a successful man owner of a company in wich you are CEO, and you have a sexy and loving wife. All good by the start, but the plot starts to become more complex when you install the "wife spy" app in your phone, a misterius app in wich you can spy and influence and influence targets, your wife and other people, this will lead to more sexier stuff with your wife and other women, but maybe not all good for you in the long run.

Amazing game. Priority focus on NTR, but honestly has a good mix of all flavors. One of the very few games I support as top tier on patreon. It's that good. Huge monthly updates, keeps to schedule, looking forward to what happens next! Go support if you want to influence new content updates.

This game is basically a phone simulator with a good story and some hot pics/videos. It's a refreshing concept for me since I haven't played any games like that before. It targets a specific audience, so if you're into NTR, cheating or feminisation, this game is for you. It also features several romance options.
All of the branches are optional, which is a good thing. I enjoyed almost all of them though. If you don't like something, you don't have to do it. You can even put the branch on hold, and you won't see any of its events.
My main kink is feminisation, and the dev here is really good at handling that. You can feminise a certain character or even yourself. Keep up the good work, Bloody Ink! You certainly piqued my interest

Was great until the holes started showing. Had the wife completely faithful, until suddenly shes talking about a weekend trip to gangbang a bunch of guys with one friend out of nowhere, then the next day telling another friend to stop trying to hook her up because she will never cheat on me.

The game is a mess. Has Bugs and not really that much gameplay aspects. Check messagesand the App and see how your decisions play out. Get told that something is happening "next weekend" withotu ny indication for what day it currently is. It's really freakin hot though if youre into cheating etc.

i don't usually do rating but since i'm QOS lover i would like to say this is the best game i played so far. there are minor issues like some times characters are denying but should be far beyond at some points, but it didn't affect the playthrough.

Definitely one of the best games out there if you are into the content of manipulation, cheating, and NTR. The game is still developing and the creator is pulling the story along at a good pace. If you are into QoS this is the game for you.

A good game, it contains different routes and situations, from the beginning of the sissification of the main character, to the betrayal of his wife, the abduction of the girl from his son, the beginning of the same with incest.
Well-chosen pictures, stylish interface, no annoying unnecessary tasks.

Pros:
- Great concept of a mobile phone simulator done well. Decent writing and phone animations.
- Interesting cast and story development so far.
- Great list of kinks and routes to choose from.
- Solid choice of picture and media (really liked the hypno videos especially).

Cons:
- Navigation a bit cluncky. Looking for app icons you can click on several users phone is a bit tedious at the moment.
- Some of the dialogs don't really make sense and seem a bit forced/far-fetched.
- Having the in-game walkthrough is great but would appreciate a head's up of what type of content each route pulls towards.

Overall really promising game so far. Keep up the great work!
I also hope there will be more content added for the sissification route especially as there's not really much there at the moment. Would be great to also see several branches/options on sissification route for example a cuck sissificaton route with the gf (i.e: sharing cocks).

Content not enjoyable. Felt railroaded hard for the content I played through. I feel like the premise of this game would be infinitely better served in more of a sandbox sort of way and allow avoidance of specific paths from the beginning instead of forcing me to say, "No, I don't want any part of this path" twenty times before you stop trying to push it on me.

The game started out very well, the first version was fantastic, second was ok-ish and you can understand where I'm going with this.


It's a five star concept with a 2 star implementation.

The Good:
1) Amazing concept of a mobile phone simulator
2) Good Cast
3) Great Idea of a sexy wife being manipulated by horny idiots and while husband is controlling everything

The Bad:
1) Sandbox Concept doesn't fit here at all, it's too much unnecessary clicking and a lot of time waste.
2) Story is ironical at the moment, for example A random guy takes over MC's company and suddenly he's under billion dollar debt which has no impact over the story.
3) Sometimes the WIFE is a slut sending guys nude pics and suddenly the next day she's a good wife.
4) At Several instances there are just dialogues and no image or no media at all.

I guess most of the good reviews were posted when this game started but dev lost the direction after initial grand success, I really hope this game gets back on track because it's an crazy amazing concept.

simply incredible, story and way it is told so far is amazing. My all time favourite game on this site, it's got everything that I'm into rolled into one easy to digest scenario. Amazing job, looking forward to more!

I feel like I want to leave two reviews. One review about the first half of the game and the other about the second half.

The game has a great start and a great concept. I love the idea of setting the stage where the MC is surrounded by corrupt people and he and his wife are slowly corrupted along with them. Seems like a fun concept.

However, halfway through the game switches from a VN with player choices to the most grind filled sandbox youve ever played.

In order for me to be able to see all the content just to give this a proper rating I basically had to put skip on and just advanced time as fast as possible just to get through the ridiculous amount of time necessary to pass in order to get the story.

If you check the progress there is literally one of the requirements set to 5000 days.

I would rate the game like this

The First half of the game:

1. Story 4/5. I liked the story at the start. It was mysterious, and it was a slow build up and tease and it was fun. I feel its hard for me to rate the story because of how hard it drops off later in the game. But at the beginning its fun.

2. Gameplay. 2/5. This is poor throughout the game. The interface is clunky and needs work. The player should have more say in the beginning IMO. It feels very restricted.

3. Images: 4/5. I enjoy the snooping and phone aspect. Makes the game diferent and interesting. The images and the way they are used at the beginning are great.

I rate the game starting out as 3.5/5. Good start and really good concept just needed some tweaking.

Second half

1. Story. 0/5. Imagine game of thrones season 3 vs game of thrones season 8. Thats how bad the drop off is in writing quality. The game goes from making sense and the MC feeling like the app and the people around him are slowly turning everyone slutty to "evil black man takes over my company and forces me to turn my wife into a whore". It is so cliche and terrible and stupid and it completely ruins any amount of fun in the story.

2. Gameplay: 1/5. It switches to complete grind fest sandbox halfway through. I dont mind sandbox. I hate it when its just a grind filled mess that takes HOURS to just force the game through the useless grind steps just to squeeze the story out. It is straight up aweful.

3. Images: 2/5 idk why the developer decided that when you snoop on someone that you cant see the camera at all or hear anything. You somehow can only see text. It makes no sense and it ruins the potential fun of the game.

Second half rating 1/5.

Overall rating 2/5. Game starts great but is ruined by the ridiculously awful choices the developer made after initially having a great concept. Really disappointed.

The game could get better and i hope it does but i have very little hope as the last 2 updates have gone in the worst direction possible.

Fun game at first with some really erotic elements, but there are a few obstacles in between the concept and a satisfying game to play.

There is way too much clicking around. I know you're supposed to be navigating phones, but the alerts, clicking, clicking back, clicking, clicking, clicking back, etc etc is just way too much fucking clicking.

You think you're getting close to a hot moment, and you click until your erection is a distant memory as you click between menus.

And a lot of the clicking is pointless. You can only click on one feature at a time as the features are presented to you in the app. The features are only presented to you for specific story points.

So, you click to switch to the wife's phone. Click to go to phone. Click on her messages. Read through messages. Click back to your phone, get an alert to click back into the menu and activate "accept" command in the app. Click back to your phone, click click click, 5 days later, the wife accepts. Then you get a flurry of texts and clicking back and forth before waiting another 5 days.

And you're interrupted by having drinks with friends that don't go anywhere, and on dates when nothing happens. Perhaps these will be filled in given time.

For now, there's wayyyy too much clicking, it kills the eroticism.

But the bones are there for a super hot game. If the developer figures out how to put it together, this one could be awesome. Now, it's a chore.
