We remind you that the new has been released.
New publication on Patreon today.

Dormitories

- Made automatic saving in the game. Auto-save works in these locations: bed, exit from the apartment, waiting rooms at the train station and the airport.
- Saving the game and loading the last save were removed from the bed of the MC and moved to the game menu.
- All saves are now in the folder "SAVE", download the desired as you can through the menu Quest Soft Player, selecting the folder "SAVE" at the root of the game.
- If you have your own wishes, where to place additional auto-save points, we wait for your comments.

- Fixed the visit of the gynecologist for MC and removed the pop-ups in this location. Made new mechanics of IUD use.
- Fixed a bug where the IUD was left after an abortion.
- Made and added to the game a university dormitory which is located in the "Taganka" district.
- Made and added to the game a dormitory of the factory, which is located in the Eastern district.
- Made and added to the game plant dormitory, which is located in the Southern district
- Added them to the city map
- Made the main possible actions for the MC in these dorms

Currently, it is not difficult to get into these dormitories. They are activated immediately and the MC can use them when studying, working in a factory or sewing factory. As you have already guessed, all dorms will have different NPCs to interact with. The university dormitory mainly represents young people. The sewing factory dormitory NPCs women of different ages and sexual orientations. The factory dorm will mostly give interaction with male NPCs. But in any dorm, the MC will get three roommates to interact with. It hasn't been implemented yet, but we hope with your support and help to do THIS too.

Put the folder "SAVE" in the folder with the game "proETO", otherwise will not work saving and constantly popping up an error message.
Put folder "dorm" in folder with game "proETO"

Interacting with NPCs in the dorms

- Dormitories are no longer automatically activated. The easiest way to get a place in a University dormitory room. To do this, you must enroll at the University and apply to the Dean's Office. If you get a job in a factory or sewing factory, you have to spend some time so that luck smiles on you. To do this, additional actions are made, which you can take advantage of while working. Every time the MC gets a place in the dormitory, the NPCs are generated anew, which guarantees that this plot will never be repeated. Which, as you may have already noticed, is a major feature of our project.
- Also, the MC can easily lose her place in the dormitory if she fails a session and gets expelled from university, or gets fired from her job.
- In the case of losing her place in the dormitory, there is an action to collect her belongings. In this case, the MC will get a bag of clothes that can be used on the street. If the MC does not use this action by midnight, the items will automatically be moved to her next accommodation.
- Increased the university stipend to 3200 rubles, as the previous stipend of 1200 rubles was destroyed by inflation.
- Added the action of loitering to the dorm room, to rewind time.
- Made MC roommates in the dorm room. Who have their own autonomous cycles of existence and characters.
- Made communication and interactions with dorm roommates that affect their relationship with the MC.
- Made tracking menstrual cycles for roommates affecting their sexual relationships with them.
- Made tracked and changed the state of alcohol and drugs (if NPC has such an interest) of dorm roommates.
- Changed the starting values sexual intercourse for girlfriend and female roommate. They used to be assigned randomly. Now the current values are used.
- Fixed the bug where the female NPC would only offer to drink alcohol all the time while walking.
- Made treating dorm roommates with alcohol and food. Added an action for ordering pizza.

It is very difficult to describe all the work done and fit into a few lines. We hope that you can understand the update yourself. If you have any questions, we'll be sure to answer them.

Replace the "logo" folder in the game folder.

brief me plez on qol and plot
i. are there in-game cheats (or external modes) for
-appearence and other statuses mantaining/boosting ? (or at least automated makeup/morning routine?)
-negative statuses disabling ?
-hours/day tweaking?
-emergency teleportation?
ii. any developed scenarios (like dozen and more quest-steps to pursue with chosen npcs) ?
iii. any in-game hints? walkthroughs? wikis?
(caz i assume some repetitive actions are required, that is - grind...and to do something lot of times without knowing if it is worthy /non-empty will not be incentivizing)

Yes there are cheats.
Boosting appearance, emergency teleport, skipping days/hours/minutes and some things more that do not come to mind right now exist.

Developed scenarios ... err ... well this is a sandbox game. You obviously have some questlines but big scenarios .. I guess not.
Since the game is heavily under construction a dedicated walkthrough is only viable for a limited time.
For instance the change made today makes any walkthrough about dormatories or shared living from before void.

i see... well ... i want something narrative/quests driven like GL Whore mode, or bigkuyash (if speaking about f/m qsps)
dunno what constitue 'big scenarios' but something common like 1-2 dozen steps with different consequitive intereactions with one npc should do.
(thus, not counting some stats or whatever grind in between)
and i dont want something like - enter this place - keep doing same thing 30 days in a row - get lewd option.

Depends ...
You certainly need to build up some skills to engage in higher level activities. Every game works that way. Called Progression.
To build up said skill a certain amount of grinding is necessary in almost every game. This one included.
I guess the closest to what you mean is the photo model path. But AFAIK it is not "1-2 dozen steps" but less than your sought for 12 to 24 ...

As said previously the game is heavily and rapidly worked on. In the "shotgun approach" and not the "sniper approach" meaning everything gets a little content so something is there instead of finishing one content completely before moving on ...

>meaning everything gets a little content
yeah that what i was afraid of
(and that little content is hidden behind the grind, not quests).
i could have roamed and investigated existing options ...but given the above fears - id want external intel to be sure what is worthy

>Called Progression.
debatable.
for me progression is about...meaningful progressing in scenario. interacting with x at y oclock at this place -> dialogue 1 -> lead to dialogue 2 -> lead to action 1 ->lead to request to buy x -> lead to interaction with z ...well you get the point.

while (almost) identical repetitive actions (basically grind) i consider as datesim elements (raising relationship stats by some non-related to quests/scenario actions. which can be numerous peeking or gift giving, or having certain mc stats, or even mini-game completion)

>Every game works that way.
probably. and in most games you can use cheats to mitigate grind of skills etc (which is often hardcore time killing option). and if players can avoid it - and still get enough content, then it is a good game. otherwise you have a grindfest masking abscence of content.

You are afraid of a balanced development?
You'd rather have games with one feature fully developed and nothing else for month until the next feature is fully developed?
Really?
Doubt it ...

You consider grind as datesim elements?
You never played an AAA game before yet alone a MMORPG, right?

By the way you should not compare a heavily WIP game basically in alpha state to fully developed games.

>You are afraid of a balanced development?
not sure what was implied. sometimes raising stats come somewhat naturally and in not any detrimental way (that i could call balanced), sometimes it is too burdensome and excessive that you opt to cheat. in any case im interested in quest/scenario action sequences like in games i mentioned (or if m/f qsps : SoaB, family life, best mothers friend)

>You never played an AAA game before yet alone a MMORPG, right?
i played some but irrelevant as we talk about f95-like games approaches. (like it is obvious that in mmorpg raisiing skills and stats are crucial element of charbuilding and charbuilding is a crucial part of mmorpg gameplay, when f95 games can totally avoid that part)

>You consider grind as datesim elements?
in sandboxes - yes. as elements of (sandbox ui) datesims and trainers. raising stats via certain repetitive action to unlock more dates and lewd options during such dates to get more scores to get access to better date/lewd options . if to cheat all that - you basically insta-reach endgame. remove that from datesim or trainer - and you will remove its core.
but narrative/quest-based sandbox can work without it. yet devs opt to include those elements to a different degree (i assume to prolong a gaming session...or to overcome some narrative gaps between steps...or worse, to hide the lack of steps).

> heavily WIP game
yeah i thought it was older than 2020. cannot say i was comparing per se, more like giving examples of my expectations. also i didnot mention original GLife which i became quite familiar with while playing its WL mod. would be a good example of how adding tons of location can contribute to nothing (half-cooked and undeveloped routes) - that what id want this game to avoid.

1.
In this context and almost every context else "balanced development" means ... well "balanced development".
Of the game. Not the character.
I guess you misunderstood on purpose.

2.
There are no such things as "f95 games". This is a pirate forum and you'll find games here from around the net. Some of them extensive while many are rather shallow porn slideshows.
They are hosted by staff here but that's it.

3.
So you are saying "grind" should have no presence in any game other than dating sims?
You'll find "grind" in EVERY game. Even in the original pac man you had to basically grind points until you won.

4.
The "thread updated" and "thread released" on this forum are usually very close to a first playable version as that's when it gets noticed most of the time. It is close to the first version overall if the developer him-/herself posts it.
"I thought it was older than XXX" is a lazy excuse ...

1.
i understood it as adding all sorts of stats make things more balanced. which (if so) i agreed might be the case. but usually it is overdone.

2.
well i dont know how such are called. indie? slum? but it feels like separate niche. and 95% of f95 content is either kns-vns or sandboxes which are quite far from open-world 3d games like wow, sim4 or gta5.
so i saw no point in comparing it with "conventional" games in any way.
closest thing to sandboxes UI which comes to mind - some elements of turn-based heroes of m&m. still not inclined to compare further.

3.
basically i call grind any action
which is needed to be repeated several times
& which is not directly* linked to narrative progressing (*that is, to work 10 times to earn 100$ to bring a gift - is a grind; to take 100$ from npc A and to bring to npc B is not as it is a quest step).
& which is additional/non-essential to a game core (easy to check. if you can remove such without any effect to the game - then you deal with a grind. if in packman your gameplay revolves around eating thingies...and if you get scores are based on thingies consumed - then it is an essential element. so not a grind for me. same goes for making kills/getting frags in shooters - cannot be called a grind because obviously it is a game essense)

but in most cases i see grind elements typical to what constitue a core of datesims&trainers gameplay (get cash/raise skill/mantain stats -> to get access to/to have option to... -> to get love points -> to get more options etc) and when i see that in "classic" sandboxes i usually tweak-raise em (one time or gradually if need to proceed with caution in order to not crash the game). unless it is a comparatively minor amount.
so that is why i narrowed down my definition abit

though sometimes you have a grind in the form of minigames (not surprisingly devs add option to skip such), or choruses (often linked to cash, so the case above). sometimes grind is (directly) linked to narrative progressing - rng encounters (like in the twist or bigbrother), or request to perform same action X times during or as a part of certain quest chain (like jerking 10+ times so that u were seen by mom in SoaBitch. hopefully u can tweak it with ingame variable cheats. sometimes via time tweaking in similar cases. for me clearly an example of some dev frustration with regard to a plot writing or content adding)

lets say CMAddiction has 0 grind exclluding some occasional choruses (in ch1, and devs realised his mistake and got rid of it in subsequent chapter) or studying (ch2, which i used just as a time-skip so was of no bother). no cash, no relationship stats, no skills as i recall. nothing (identically) repetitive in quest department (if we consider grind term more broadly)
STSaga has very small amount of grind, like you can tweak stats and cash at the start and never care about it (or probably gain it anyway during the natural course of gaming). doesnot feel like most game content being affected by it.

3.1
>So you are saying "grind" should have no presence in any [f95sbx]game other than dating sims[&trainer sbxes]?
if it is a comparatively minor amount - im fine with that.
otherwise i see no need for it to be present - but i dont mind if someone want to have such a raw experience
in any case it is not about me (not) supporting those elements ... as i was talking about situations when grind is simply being used to conceal some void. (like go to cafe - work 15 times - get your ass slapped once - work 15 times hoping to get some - discovering the end of content ...or continue hopeless clicking)

4.
GL. if i heard it right - the reason for all those undeveloped routes is that new people come to rescue the project, start develop some plots and ditch it half done. i guess things implemented by an original dev are more complete ( though it feels more like datesim game so he might not bother with quest side) when going through some tips and wikis it looked like city maid quest (launched via blonde lesbo girl) is the largest. cannot be sure.

Dating in the dorms

- The game version has been changed to "0.91.9"! Please replace file "Start_Game", otherwise the game will not start from this file. This version will be available to public at the end of this month. Well, with your help, we hope to move much further.
- Made displaying dorms in the statistics. The MC is no longer displayed as homeless.
- Continued to populate the dorms with characters. Dating is now available in the hallway of the dorm and in the kitchen. On weekdays, introductions will take place mostly in the evening. On weekends, throughout the day. Both group and individual characters are available. Male characters predominate in the University and factory dorms. Be warned! If the MC has the status of a whore in the area where the dormitory is located, the interest in her will not be for the sake of friendship. The same applies to companies that are looking for easy prey for entertainment and satisfaction of their needs (slut status points, in such cases, will increase).
- Made casual conversation with single NPCs. The MC enters into a brief dialogue with them upon meeting, which she can terminate.
Also, this dialogue can terminate the NPC if he does not like the behavior of the MC. Or the NPC can invite her into the room if the MC raises their attitude during this dialogue. As always, it's up to you to decide. Everything is randomly generated, so you get a new experience each time.

If there's anything we missed to tell you about this update, let that be a nice bonus for you. If you have any questions, we'll be sure to answer them.

Replace the file "Start_Game" in the folder "proETO 0.91.8".
Rename folder "proETO 0.91.8" to "proETO 0.91.9

Interaction with acquaintances in the dormitory

- When the MC interacts with an NPC who wants to meet her, at a certain relationship level, the befriend action now appears. Whether the MC continues to interact with the NPC or not, either way, if she befriends, the hallway will now display the room where the NPC lives. The MC can have up to 3 male and female NPCs at a time. Which adds up to 6 more NPCs to interact with, besides roommates. Since the Sewing Factory dorm is predominantly female, male NPCs are not available for friendship here.
11e.png
- Made life cycle mechanics for new acquaintances. They won't always be available, and they won't always be happy to see the MC.
- Made a mechanic to track relationship changes and sexual attraction for these NPCs. Repeated sex, after a short interval of time, will not be possible. But you can always drink and eat for free.
- Relationships with acquaintances in the dormitory will require constant support from the MC. If she does not communicate with NPCs for a long time, the relationship will fade and access to their room will cease.
- If the relationship level is low, old acquaintances can be exchanged for new ones.
- Relationships persist for a while after losing a dorm room, but friendships fade if the MC doesn't visit her friends. Of course, she may not be allowed in the dorm, but with a certain level of intelligence, she can get in without a problem.

If you have any thoughts, suggestions or questions about this topic, we look forward to your comments.
