Guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
I like both games for what they are:
GL has some excellent storylines but is limited by what's written and coded. E.G. If you do a storyline for an NPC you can get to a point which isn't the end of their story but it's still waiting to be written.
About_It you make your own story so it's 100% sandbox. I think that it's the game's main strength as there is plenty of content and the NPCs interact well with the MC.

I worked a lot of time in a factory, worked in a hotel and in a store. But I can't figure out how to become more attractive. I don't see any character development. The beauty salon only has temporary improvements. I don't understand how to make myself more beautiful for a long time. I don't know what other types of work might be available to me.
A wiki on the game would be very helpful.
P.S. I would also like to make the location images smaller, is that possible? so that they don't take up almost the entire screen, because of this the actions don't fit and you have to scroll a lot with the mouse.

it is possible but u will have to grind a lot,it is a sex game after all, acting career pays well, save money and buy acting course at culture house ,and use little money to buy cheap perfume and make up it will increase u r look,and sexy cloths at sexs shop is relatively cheap but increase looks a lot specially if u skip underwear also when u have at least pretty look ,u will start to attract more attention from rich people ,try to get in a lesbian relationship with a soft nature girl to stay virgin otherwise they might force strap-on or dildo on u, benefit is u can ask them for money once a month if they are rich they will give u ,the highest i think is around 125000 that u can get this way every month, if they loose job then dump them and find another rich soft girl.

Explain in more detail how attractiveness works in terms of clothes. I bought an outfit from a sex shop and it really increased my attractiveness, but with other clothes I didn't notice it increasing.

As mentioned above, nice clothes and jewellery will help.
If you learn to dance that will increase the speed that your gait (poise) is quicker.
Look to improve your jobs by learning new skills and/or going to university.
Long term plastic surgery will assist but in the short term use manicures and pedicures (you can do this without a certificate as that's only required if you want to get employment doing manicures). Face cream will improve your complexion. Then keep yourself clean and don't sleep wearing makeup or if you are dirty.
look for a part-time job there, you will be offered a job in the service sector, go through an interview. There is also a brothel in the area of the train station
