Even if he releases it, we will have to wait like a year for the next one, people don't change.
He is releasing it to keep the game on steam. I think he used early access program or something which steam warns devs if they exploit it and abandon the game once they publish on steam. This dev did exactly that. He released it on steam and immediately abandoned it but continued misleading both people who bought on steam and those supporting on patreon. I wouldn't be surprised if the following update will be in December 2026 with very few renders. Otherwise there is no explanation, I hope I'm wrong because the game is very good and I want frequent updates.

Sadly steam no longer allows Adult titles to do early access (unless you were grandfathered in from before probably April of this year). Hope Mundo is just back after a needed break. I enjoyed this one.
