You have to start playing ILSProductions games. Dev consistently pumps out an update a month like it's 2019 around here. Has finished two fairly long games and no doubts his current game ToxiCity won't have an ending at a reasonable point in time as well.Same goes for another 324 games here... I mean to see the end.
There are many good devs it's just that it's sad to see good models come to wasteYou have to start playing ILSProductions games. There are a lot of sites that are used on F95 I do not trust, I freely admit I am overly paranoid but Vikingfile, Buzzheavier and a couple others just have a whole lot of trust issue and low trust scores on several sites. And while I run almost every game though a battery of tests using various tools on the PC and Virustotal before I run it, I just cant bring myself to trust a lot of these sites.Did you download from VikingFile? So far everything I download from VikingFile will give false positive virus detection and ask are you sure you want to download this dangerous file. I only use BuzzHeavier to download majority of the files now. I rarely use VikingFile to download anymore. I dunno VikingFile started to give false positive ever since it started asking for donations.
these are the exact words that came out of my mouth when I saw this updated.Holy shit its back!
Ummmm, of course you can do that, but why?And while I run almost every game though a battery of tests
It's better being safe than sorry - especially if you install software from questionable sources.Ummmm, of course you can do that, but why?
the executable .exe file in all 2.7 projects can be used the same - copied from a "trusted" project to a new one, renamed the file name to the correct one - and run it safely. it will work. currently, it's enough just to get the contents of the Game catalog, and knowing which version of RenPy, copy the Lib and renpy catalogs as well. I recently discovered this myself when I found out that new versions of renpy older than 3.11 do not want to run on Windows 8 - but the thing is that it's simple.exe files have been tweaked to avoid running on older systems. and projects on renpy2.7 - haha, they will work by default, install the renpy SDK (i istalled renpy-6.99.14.3-sdk.7z) and figure out how to copy the Game folder from the game to the directory where the SDK is installed. in case with 3.xx you only need to copyy just .exe file.
You needn't be so paranoid.
virus not hangs with script files. well i do not see'd virus which infects .jpg or .png or .webp (but even if there are such viruses, they can be scary to editing programs, and viewer programs often do not need access to expanded information, and renpy is a simple image viewer.)
